After thinking on it, I'm happy they did not draft a QB this year. Unless they would have found the next Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady, then there was no point in it this year. It would have made things more complicated. Now they can strictly focus on Hack's development and maybe even Petty. Let them fight it out for the position and play the entire year. I'm guessing Hack has the green light as long as he earns the job. If Hack is half way decent, they win about 5-6 games and draft in the top ten for a monster oline men or a monster skilled offensive player. If he is horrible, then win 1-2 games and they draft that QB with the number 1 or 2 pick. .
