I guess if Macc gets a chance to talk to Bradway and respects his opinions and methodology then he will keep him. If it turns into a pissing contest he's done. The story is he was screaming for Wilson so who knows, he is a good soldier who leaves everything in the war room.

I have a feeling he is going to survive. He has an odd relationship with the Jets. He seldom comes to their building, and does his work (reviewing film) from his home in Absecon NJ. He is still a pretty respected character in the NFL

yeah not sure on this one according to what mccagnan said is he would only take the job if he had full support from the jets on the scouting staff.

Not to step on your revisionist history text but Mangini was the coach and a bad one at that.
The only two personnel/ scouting area decisions he was reported to be begging for was 1) getting the Jets to take Gholston who he loved and 2) in Cleveland accepting three scrap heap quality players in exchange for the overall fifth pick in the draft while failing there.
I guess you could add ruining Vernon Davis' career in SF to complete the Mangini trifecta
I understand he was the coach, however with Mr t staying, his staff leaving was the major change in regime. Gholston was a solid first rounder on everyone's board and out of those players picked over several years, you're gonna miss. From what I've heard he was much more involved than you believe, maybe those moves are the ones he was brutally insistent on.
