Draft Party (lets get together)

We've been on this board for a while and it would be great if we would get together to watch the draft on the 26th of April. I'am open to suggestions on a meet up spot.

This very well may be the year we select our well anticipated franchise QB. What better way than being with the people that have suffered alongside with all these years than no other than us right here.

Thoughts???

Maybe even a couple locations. Regional. We have some fans who have recently mentioned being in CT. We have NJ fans here. Fans in NYC, as well as upstate.

OK, i know about public intoxication.. the running from the police.. grabbing his junk telling another team what they can do with it..

geno smith had already built up a laundry list of dick head moves in college as well..

i don't remember you being super down on him before or after we drafted him..

why so much venom for one but not the other??

This is phenomenal!

I have a couple of spot as i'am in NYC. Though i'd go where ever to meet up with all of you to watch this:

1) Metlife- They have a Jets draft day party there which starts at 6:30pm and runs until the end of round one. Tickets are completely free and downloadbale via the official Jets website.

2) The city- The Whiskey Rebel-murray hill

Croxley Ales-East Village Dive Bar-Upper west side

Van Diemen's-Murray hill


3) Long Island:

Millers Ale House on Hempstead Turnpike

McHebes-Hemstead

Parlays-Rockville centre

4) CT

Mohegan sun

I was at the ML draft party a few years ago & it was good but......you had to share the party with Giant fans ...this year they will be picking first & they may take our guy or that RB. Not he place to be this year IMO

I was actually happy the Jets drafted Geno. Thats how much I know, but I was ready to move on from Sanchez. This kid just rubs me the wrong way. I like my QB to have some humility and he doesn't have it. I coach a few kids that go to OU and I've hear plenty of stories about him that have never been reported. I've said it before its win/win situation for me if they draft him. If he plays awesome as a fan I will be elated and on the bandwagon. However, when he ends up being caught with a tranny and doing coke with OBJ then I will be elated because I was right. The other kid that has a big mouth about the president doesn't bother me because he will fit right in with the Liberals of the northeast. Our owner may not like it, but who cares. He can say what he wants as long as he is winning.

Would you have opposed drafting Lawrence Taylor? I recently read that his wild ways were even worse in college and were well known. How about Big Ben,the apparent perp of a sexual assault that was swept under the rug?

IMO, QB holds a much higher status with the team so for LT I don't care what he does. For Big Ben I wouldn't draft him if it was well known, but I think his issues were after he was drafted. Baker is going to be a bigger circus than any QB.
