Drafted QBs over the past five years, which one you got?

First off, Happy New Year Jets faithful! I started this thread because we obviously don't have anything Jets related to talk about at this point other than the off season. I was just thinking if I could have chosen any QB drafted or not drafted over the past five years for the Jets, who would it be? I'm thinking that any QB drafted within the past 5 years is about 28 or younger and still has 10 years at least left in them barring their health.

Not saying I'm not happy or I don't want the Jets having Darnold as the QB because that's not the case but just for shits and giggles, who would you choose from this poll or someone else? Now I didn't put P. Mahomes, D. Watkins or L. Jackson on this poll because it's obvious (or obvious to me) that anyone would choose them over any of these other guys. So let's just say you couldn't choose Mahomes, Watkins or Jackson, who you got?

There are quite a few QBs I couldn't put on the poll and that's what the (other) choice option is for. I choose Wentz because other then his injury issues, this kid is an amazing talent. Dak would be my number two and Darnold would be my number three.

I say, put any of them on the cheetahs and they will win a Superbowl. Of course Scarnechia can't coach forever so they might not win a handful but with Belichick, at least 1 or 2

I'm going for Stonecold Sam, though it's hard to compare him with Wentz, Goff or Prescott because of the difference in quality of the supporting casts.

Stafford was drafted ten years ago.

It was either Sam or Wentz. But both Prescott and Wentz have had great supporting casts. (Not this year so much for Wentz, but his o-line when healthy is outstanding). Prescott has one of the most loaded offensive rosters in the league.

I just voted and voted for Sam. We passed on Mahommes. Passed on Watson. I wanted Watson. I would have picked a different team if the Jets chose Baker. However watching Baker get destroyed playing with this roster would have been fun.

Sam, by far, has the least amount to work with here.
He had no Oline, no bonafide #1 WR, maybe not even an above average #2WR, yet.
His TEs this year was a 4th round rookie and 2 picked off the pile, cast offs.
He had Mono game1 and should have won, no kicker.
Sam went 7-6 with this MASH unit.
Put a team around this kid and let him go to work.
In 5 years, all these other teams will wish that had a QB like Darnold.

It was too difficult for me not to pick Mahomes. Factoring out the three you mention, I might actually say Josh Allen. That kid has really impressed me this year. If he can improve his accuracy, Allen can be the next Elway. Big, excellent runner, and a cannon arm.

Guys, Jets82 says in his post that he's taking Mahomes, Watkins, and Jackson off the table because they are too obvious. He's looking to see which 2nd tier QB we like best
