Big shock. Of course, Pats fans will claim the league is out to get them.
Their whole dynasty is full of asterisks!!
A little bit much. I know it's the popular thing to say the Patriots only win because they cheat but let's get real.
What did we have , 3 or 4 players popped for PEDs last season? Where's our VLT?
The Cowboys, Ravens and Seattle each have more suspended players for PEDs than the entire NFL. Just behind them, the Colt's.
Its very possible that something perscribed by his DR during rehab caused the positive results.
Or maybe the ghost that spiked Kerleys supplements visited Edleman.

True, but none of those teams have been caught spying on other teams sidelines (Spygate) or deflating footballs before playoff games.

The difference is, the Pats get caught doing everything else, too. And they act holier than thou. They're the biggest offenders across the board and the biggest whiners.
It's easy to hate them. They are cocky and show no humility but they are scrutinized at much higher level. How many QBs stated they have adjusted the pressure in the balls? Almost every current and former NFL QB.

I hate them because of their arrogance, but don't think their success is due to cheating. Of course I hate them even more because they have simply dominated the Jets for 2 decades....

I don't recall the Jets causing the league directive about filming. I do recall the league finding a library of tapes at Foxboro, destroying them, but issuing no further penalty.
And no other team doctored the air pressure of footballs after they had been checked by officials the way the Pats had.

A Jets employee was caught at Foxborough videotaping from the end zone in 2006. That led to the league wide notice.
Videotaping is actually legal , but there are designated areas that teams have to film from. Every team has, or should have a library of oponents signals .
As far as no team ever doctoring footballs after they had been checked by the league,
???? Brad Johnson came out at the time and told how he bribed an NFL employee $7500 so he could get the game balls to doctor them in the Super Bowl.
Look at the QBs who said they did the same thing, Marino, Kelly, Peyton , Rodgers ( he had extra air pumped into the balls ). It's a common thing that every team does. Usually just on the sidelines.
As I said, it's easy to hate on NE , but at some the cheating angle from this fan base gets ridiculous , especially with something like Edlemans PED suspension. Given we have had way more players caught using PEDs
I'm surprised they haven't lawyered up already.
Then they wonder why the rest of the league hates them. They keep lying to themselves and telling themselves its because they win, but I've lived long enough to see multiple dynasties in the NFL and I have never seen one as universally despised outside of their own hometown as the Patriots. Mostly they were respected and fans were in awe of them. This team is hated because they lie, scheme and cheat like there's no tomorrow, then have a persecution complex whenever they get caught.

There is absolutely no reason for this. Why would anyone feel the need to use a football discussion to push their own political agenda? This is just ridiculous.
Well, even before the Jets taped the Patriots in that incident, the Patriots taped the Jets. "Before the Foxborough incident, the Jets sniffed out a Patriots spy at the September, 2006 game at the Meadowlands, according to a person with knowledge of the situation."
As for Brad Johnson, his incident was bad, although it had nothing to do with air pressure. He had them scuffed. I know Rodgers liked them pumped up, but I don't know of him having extra air pumped into them after the balls had been checked by the officials. And no team had players destroy evidence the way Brady and the Patriots did.

When the Falcons got caught pumping in crowd noise, they admitted their actions and accepted the league penalty. Why can't the Patriots ever say, "we were wrong, and we're sorry," instead of screaming about how "the league is out to get us"?
I am not implying that cheating is the reason for NE’s success. They have a great QB and a great HC. And a system that makes average players look even better. They deserve every SB ring they have.
