Heck. Guys like Joe Montana, Brett Favre, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes didn't even start their Rookie seasons and neither did a younger healthy Chad Pennington etc.

So yes. It's obvious that Zach Wilson has work to do just as Young/Aikman/Manning/Allen (and so many later on turned great QBs) had work to do after their less than impressive Rookie seasons.

Improve this kids makeshift O-Line, mediocre WRs (outside of Elijah Moore/Corey Davis) and upgraded his crap TEs throughout the next two offseasons during his 2nd and 3rd years and he'll have an awesome career moving forward.

And those guys were different. Wilson will be gone from the league in 7 more games. Wilson will then get a job as a ball boy at Gary Huff's football camp...only to get fired for mishandling the equipment. He will then work in Hyvee to follow in the footsteps of his hero Kurt Warner. Kurt Warner will share an inspirational message about personal struggles and then tell Wilson not to heed any advice from them because he's such a loser. He will then go to work on porn hub as an entertainer but get permanently banned from there for producing content that has a record low views to video stream size ratio. After being completely dejected, he will move in with his brother Ephraim who teaches him to love life.
