Between 0:50 and 1:05 he's talking about Woody:
I'm not going bananas over it, I'm just having some fun with it, but this kind of humor doesn't translate well over the internet. Generally speaking I do think he should keep quite about our opinions of any particular prospects, unless its subterfuge, but its not like he blew the whistle on who we are really targeting at 6 so its not fatal. It's amazing to me how anyone could take public comments this time of year seriously. Not only that, but to go completely bananas over them too.
If I was watching TV and guessing which Mac takes, I would guess he takes Gregory.
If I was betting, my money would be Gregory is on our draft card.
If I was GM, I would draft Cooper.
Cooper is 20 years old. Having him as a situational player until he's ready to be fully unleashed is an exciting proposition...but that's the fan in me talking.

This. What if they don't view Winston/Mariota as franchise material/worthy of trading up for?
This too. Unless MaccBowles have trained Woody, this is more of the same BS that's been going on for years. "I just want him gone".Woody needs to learn how to shut his big mouth, because every time he opens it he says something destructive. Its not enough that he likely cost us a draft pick with his big yap, now he wants to telegraph to other teams what our GM and football people are thinking about the draft too, because everyone in the NFL knows what you know, that Woody didn't come up with that idea himself. Unfortunately he's the owner and nobody can tell the owner to PIPE DOWN!!
This.
Everyone saying "we have to take a QB here" needs to qualify that statement with "if they like one". You go to Lowe's for kitchen cabinets, you don't like their shitty cabinets, you buy their pricier cabinets anyway, just because you need cabinets?

I'm good with Cooper, White or one of the top LBs. I'm thinking LB would be better at this point. Jets did so much in FA, covered secondary, WR spot and even addressed o-line a little bit but not LB. Plus I believe Marshall has 3-4 years left of top-notch #1 WR play in him. WR can be addressed in the second or third rounds. If they do draft Cooper or White I'm good with it.
Winston Cooper Fowler in that order...then White
I think the Raiders snag Cooper and we grab White.
I'm not sure White can play in the slot? He seems to be a more Classic outside receiver. His routes are not sudden enough or crisp enough to play the slot like Cooper can. IMO

Even if Marshall is playing for the Jets for the next two years, it makes sense that we have a potential #1 WR on the roster being developed. I think Cooper or White are luxury picks at #6 that we cannot afford at this stage of our rebuild. A more pressing need IMO is a dynamic edge guy, and we have our pick of the litter at #6 . As 55 mentioned earlier in this or another thread, the really good OLB/Edge types will be gone by #37 pick. However, we should be able to get a very good WR at #37 , who can be developed to step in when Marshall hangs 'em up.That's kinda why I think the Raiders snag Cooper, he's more polished. As for us grabbing White, I think Marshall may be 1 and done for us.
I don't understand why everyone is saying that Titans have no interest in Mariota because they have Mettenberger. Mettenberger was injured coming into his rookie season and finished the season injured, and didn't play all that great when he did play. If Mariota is in fact the real deal, there is no way that the Titans or the Bucs for that matter should pass on him.
