Eric Decker injury status

Jets WR Eric Decker has a partial tear in his rotator cuff and won't play Sunday, the team announced. Todd Bowles said it's a week-to-week injury. He didn't rule out surgery down the road; it depends on healing and rehab. This a big blow to the Jets' struggling passing attack.

This is going to be a long season for the Jets and, unfortunately, a short season for me IMO. We need someone to step up big time but I am not sold that someone exists or will be allowed to play if they do exist. Decker and Marshall made Fitz look good and they are both hurt. It will be interesting to see if the coaches and mngt. move in another direction.

Great point. Winning teams overcome this type of thing. It's Q time, and Robbie Anderson time. I'm confident it'll happen. Really hope Decker doesn't need season ending surgery.
