The Jets seem satisfied with their starting guards. Carpenter is a lock and Bowles has done nothing but praise Colon. Despite his shortcomings with drawing flags at the worst times, he is the outspoken guy on the unit, and one of the team leaders.
Not a big fan of Colon's propensity to commit a penalty at the worst possible moment. This says more about Winters, Aboushi, Harrison, and Qvale than anything.

It's bad when you know before ref makes call it's going against Colon.
Not sure it means anything, but none of the 17 penalties on Friday were called against Colon.
Makes sense for Denver -- better them than the Dolphins.
Damn - good deal for the broncos. I guess Mathis did lose money, bad decision on his end to ask for his release.
