Offensive linemen from McGovern, to even the rookie Becton have stepped up and said our run blocking was good but our pass protection was bad... Unfortunately it wasn't until late in the game did the run blocking come together where Frank Gore and Josh Adams were able to find rushing lanes...

Both Chris Herndon and Jamison Crowder went on about how they have to do better in their route running and separation to give a window to Sam Darnold to throw too... My take is there were no other targets for Sam to throw too because the designed play calling was to get one of those two the ball on almost every play...

Le'Veon was hurt in practice and swore he was fine, entering this game he clearly wasn't a 100%... Playing RB verse as WR are two different needs from your body... As a RB you rely on your legs to help with leverage and balance as a WR it is more about speed, and change of direction which can be manipulated by body control... Bell entering this game would of been more effective as a wide out, he would of opened up the field for Perriman, Hogan or Crowder to be more effective offensively... But being quiet and not admitting he wasn't healthy enough only hindered any sort of production that could of come from Gore or Adams...

“I look at it as, we don’t have a choice, we have to get better, we have to improve, we have to make sure that we do a better job next week because we are playing another team that’s really good on offense and they are really good on defense and really good on special teams, so we cannot play like we did this last game.”

“We have to correct a lot of things very quickly, we have to get a lot better really fast and we got to go put the work in, we have to make sure that we study correctly, we got to make sure that our game plans are tight and that we have answers for our players and basically we got to go back and work and we just got to make sure that we do a good job of making these practices count.”

“I don’t know if it was so much mental mistakes, it was we weren’t making plays, I think it’s details, whether it’s on offense, details of some of the route concepts."

“Defensively and special teams, a lot of our issues came with missed tackles. We just got to keep working on our fundamentals and making sure that when we do our drill work with tackling and ball security that we make sure that we are really wired in when we do that. We also have to do a good job of wrapping up, getting to the ball at practice and just do a better job this week than we did last week.”

Never did I hear or read that he needs to take any accountability and figure out how to get the best out of our players... His statements always feel cold and it is like the players don't understand that his genius if ran right will be successful, but how long and how many teams, players does he have to hinder until he figures out it is not them but him...
