If you thought it was the Zach Wilson franchise electric QB run for a TD you thought wrong (that was my 2nd favorite play) lol.
My favorite was Zach Wilson escaping the pocket, rolling out right, redirecting Corey Davis to go deep and throwing an absolute laser to Corey Davis for a TD bomb into the end zone that was my #1![]()
I loved the way his teammates and O-Linemen rallied around Zach Wilson and celebrated with him after that TD to Corey Davis too![]()
Mine was on draft night. We kept passing on RG Trey Smith out of Tennessee. I was on another Jets forum and couldn't stop complaining about it. Round after round. We just kept on passing him by. And it was starting to piss me off.

So does anyone have a least favorite moment of the year . Mine was the signing of Joe Flacco . I get the fact that the Jets thought they needed a veteran QB but at the time the QBs on the roster were equating themselves rather nicely. I would have preferred that we actually continued the development of the players we had on the roster who we might need going forward.
Maybe so but between the 3 QB we had on the roster before, Flacco wasn’t worth giving up a draft pick for . Now we have this already retired dude, no 6th round pick and no Johnson.Deserving is a strong word my dude.
Josh Johnson was drafted 9 years ago with only 9 career starts and only 13 TDs/16 INTs and a mediocre career QB Rating of 70.7 (9 years later).
I'm with you on Joe Flacco. I dislike almost everything about him. But I don't agree that Johnson is deserving of anything because imo he's not very good @ all (and never has been).
Trust me on this one. I live in Tampa Bay. And Buccaneers fans hated him for 3 years as he went 0-5 in TB and absolutely stunk. and throughout his career he's 1-8 as a starter. He's not very good man
I think it went to Carolina in a swap but can’t be sure .Yes. Giving up a 6th round pick for Flacco was stupid when you can find diamond sleepers in the 6th round.
I know we had two 6th round picks but now we have 0.
One 6th for Flacco.
Where did our other 6th round pick go?

And yet you still won’t follow their way of thinking . When someone shows you who they are, believe them .In my Jets mock draft on another Jets forum I had us taking Trey Smith 3rd round.
So 3rd round and beyond? I started getting frustrated every time we passed on him (although I love the Michael Carter RB pick).
When KC took him more like stole him @ the VERY END of round 6th? I was disheartened.
Jamien Sherwood. 5th round.
Michael Carter II. 5th round.
Jason Pinnock. 5th round.
Hamsah Nasirildeen. 6th round.
Brandin Echols. 6th round.
Even as an FSU fan (Hamsah Nasirildeen) I'd give up any two of these players just for 1 Trey Smith.
Yes. He had health concerns heading into the draft but @ Tennessee he was 100% dominant and beast mode every time he stepped onto the football field. He even returned to the playing field after being sidelined with lung issues and was a MONSTER once returning.
I love JD. No GM can be 100% perfect. All GMs miss more than they hit etc etc but still to this day. There was no excuse to pass on Trey Smith 5x during the 5th and 6th rounds. None. Especially when RG is one of our top 3 weakest positions on our roster. To pass on Trey not once, not twice, not three times, not four but 5 times during both the 5th and 6th rounds was down right criminal.
I'm just a regular football fan who just so happens to be ACC and SEC crazed living down here in the south (FL) and even I knew Tre Smith was going to dominate football on an NFL level and how JD a former O-Linemen himself didn't take a gamble on Trey but gambled on ACL Hamsah Nasirildeen? It's still beyond me.
I don't wanna talk about it anymore.
And yet you still won’t follow their way of thinking . When someone shows you who they are, believe them .
Look at how the tandem of GM and Coach drafted last year and then compare that to how @DefenseWinsChampionships draft in his mocks . That what I was referencing with my comment.i don't follow?
@DefenseWinsChampionships wanted Trey Smith, projected as high as a late first to 2nd round pick who fell to the 6th.
Aside from Echols and Carter II, i wouldn't miss any of the others picked in the 5th or 6th to get the 9th rated Guard in the NFL.

what does that mean?

No they worked together to improve the overall speed on the roster . You can’t rebuild the team in one draft but you can upgrade the roster .I think i see what you meant...Saleh acquiesced on all offense to start, but then had a heavy hand in the defensive selections at the end?
shame on his @$$ then for passing up on late 1st to be had in the 6th.
