While I thought the banana was a pretty good sign that I was being sarcastic, I do find it interesting that you think people who are jerks in one forum aren't just as idiotic in the other ones . . .

I saw the sarcasm. I wasn't necessarily just addressing you. I was simply saying politics and religion is too divisive to even bother with. It ALWAYS devolves into angry exchanges between right and left, which really accomplishes nothing in terms of real value. Just my opinion.
And I'm fully aware that people can be idiotic about anything. Football, politics, you name it. I was just saying that politics and religion is a time bomb waiting to blow up the entire house. More so than any other subject matter.
