Few Changes Added

You may have noticed two new changes:

• Auto refresh
• Activity bars underneath avatar

The feature for auto refresh will be used during game threads and for threads that will require constant reloading, i.e. draft day and free agency. We set up the auto refresh for 45 seconds. Renegade and I tested this out and really think it'll be a great addition to the site.

The activity bars may not be for everyone. It basically gives everyone achievement points and a ranking for their activity on our forum. We'll be giving out awards based on these metrics in the near future so that is why we wanted to have it available. If it ruins your experience, please do turn it off by going to:

Settings at the top
On the left sidebar under "My Settings" find "Activity" and then "settings" and select to hide them all.

If it turns out that everyone hates it, we'll turn it off.

also don't worry about the refreshing automatically while you are reading posts because it only works on the last and most recent page which is why we set it so that a thread needs 50 posts before it will start working.

We still have some settings to mess with hopefully we can make it even better

Also check out the activity bar at the top of the page just below the main header it is some cool info for those people that like rankings and achievements.

i think it's a win win.. i like that you guys are pushing the bells & whistles.. the activity bars are cool as far as stats go but i think it takes away the really clean look NYJF has..

being able to hide the bars is perfect for me..

Thnx for feedback, I'm taking notes! I too like the simplicity and didn't think much about it but you are right.

We are on the way to receiving a logo too. We'll post on board for feedback!!!

We want you guys as much of the growth of the site as us.

i don't think so it goes with the thread. It is not a user perk per say more a forum perk

There's a way we can assign cetain threads to auto refresh rather than all of them. We looked into it once but never figured it out. I will look into it again bc it only does make sense for game threads

I find the refresh to be annoying. But I didn't want to ruin it for everyone since I am sure there are those who like it, which is why I asked if it could be changed by the user. I agree though, it does make sense for game threads.

Thnx and I'll look into it once I am free. I had an inquiry with the program developer but I never heard back. I'll follow up.
