ok. I've said it for years. if you're QB has all day to throw (see tom brady), then you're team has a chance to win any game.
so until this offensive line fails us, I'm gonna be a little excited to see what they can do. they are the key to what this team can do. If Becton starts at LT and Fant is ok with it, then that is a good sign
unfortunately, the first test for them is against a pretty good defensive line but , that said, the Bills have been hearing about how they are primed to win the division ever since the day brady left and that puts some pressure on them. can they live up to the hype? guess we'll see. My money is still on belichick until he fails

I'm interested to see how this all plays out with the OL. It seems as though it has gone as well as could be expected from a chemistry and character standpoint, but lets wait to see what happens when it gets real. My big hope is that we can run the ball effectively. If we can, everything should fall into place. I don't think Gase will go run heavy, but I hope to see a fair amount of Mechi Becton crushing a few opponents.

Not a good sign that Williamson is not ready more than a year later.
In Dave Anderson's book "Countdown to Super Bowl" (probably the best book I've read about SB III), he tells about an in game moment.
Defensive tackle Paul Rochester asks Weeb Ewbank, "When they go to an unbalanced line, do I line up over the guard or the center".
Ewbank answers, "Just line up in there and hit somebody".
That's how I feel right now.
Time to put all the BS aside.
Just have them line up and hit somebody.
That should be their slogan for the year.
