Bowles owned it last night. But both DC-OC got to go! Is OC trying to get Petty SMASHED? DC ? What was you thinking play one on one with ZERO good CB's-Safeties on this team? DC made Moore look like Brady. Bowles needs another year ,but both Coordinators slack on players & their dumb schemes & Players disrespect & no discipline MUST GO! Bowles as a rookie HC cant baby sit these awful Coordinators. FIRE BOTH OC-DC & get Bowles some real Coordinators & lets see what he can really do.

I disagree on the Chan Gailey - the offense hasn't been all that bad(they've also been playing from behind all season), and what also contributed to the bad has been for the most part beyond Gailey's control - decker's injury - OLine in shambles - Marshall awful particularly with pivitol drops - Fitzpatrick reverting to dubious decisions(resulting in interceptions) --- Petty actually looks like he may be pretty good especially with another off season.......If Gailey is made a scapegoat, I'll lose alot of respect for McCagnan. Regardless, the defensive staff has been hideous(and that includes - and to a very large extent falls on - Bowles)

two things..

all bowles "owned" last night is his long string of obtuse quips are no longer doing him any service..

that & he recruited & signed off on both gailey & rogers..

I am OK if Bowles stays, though I detest this reporting structure. I'm also honestly OK if he goes, though I would prefer stability.

My trust is ultimately in Mac. I want him to decide who the HC is, and for that HC to report to Mac. That said, if I was in the room, I'd want an offensive guy, someone with Jets ties, some HC experience, a history of developing QBs, but a guy young enough to be here a while, and someone from a program of stability. The two that come to mind are Haley and McDaniels. Personally, I'd rather have Haley, because of the Jets ties and because of the drama McDaniels would bring.

Haha, Tebow & my Mets.....Hey good luck to him. I do think Bowles is too nice to his Coordinators ,especially the Defensive Coordinator allowing Wilk-Richardson to miss meetings & Revis to come in out of shape. Gailey is just awful on so many levels. I think he has done next to nothing in Petty's development. Top it off calling some those plays put Petty in very bad risk. Especially since Gailey hasnt taught Petty much on reading Defenses. Embarrassing Jets performances last night by OC-DC & Players goofing off.

Until Petty, Gaileys Offense has put Jets Defense on the field most of games. 3 and out & lack of run plays along with Gailey Bills QB student just killed us this year. Sad thing is Jets DC slack on Players & favoritism to star players sends bad messages to others. I'm really not sure Jets can fix this. Cant have any of those Defensive Players acting like that on team next year & only hope young players like Williams dont think he can do that. Clean house & Jets are an expansion team in total rebuild next year with a horrid Defense in front 7 & back end. Then look at Offense & only WR's are good & O Line older & Questions at QB & back ups drafted was ex stream high risk . Jets expansion team for next 5-6 total rebuilding & hope Jets GM MM learned from this & only pays Skilled positions from now on. Learn after signing Revis/Wilkerson/Richardson/Skrine/Pryor, fiasco screwing Jets & Fans. Cut/trade all those I just named to start over.

Todd Bowles is the worst. On Saturday our team captains were Mo and Sheldon. The two that were suspended for coming late to multiple meetings. Great example Bowles.

If memory serves me right Peyton was the guy assigned by Parcells to work with Romo..... And we all know what he has done with Brees....

In a QB driven league a known commodity in developing QBS is a premium if you ask me... Will they take Richardson for him?

Get Payton to revamp the Offense and coach the team and make Gus Bradley the DC.... He sucked as a coach but he knows how to run a defense ...

Have to admit, there are a lot worse decisions the team could make.
