kind of strange to trade away dee ford for a 2020 2nd and then turn around and make this trade. almost like dee ford and a 1st for clark with a swap of 3rd

I didn't get that, either. Why trade Ford for draft capital, only to expend it on Clark? Especially when both were due massive paydays.

only thing i've gathered is they are switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3 under new DC steve spagnuolo and felt ford (and houston) were't fits for the 4-3 and clark was
