Jets don't have enough cap left to even pay their draft selections. In my opinion is they didn't get enough for him. It should have at least been a 2025 pick.

Desperate for cap space. JFM had 2 years left with big $ amounts and 2 void years on top of that from last restructure

That is what it was. Desperate for cap room. I'm sure if a bigger offer was on the table, they would have taken it. It was a bad deal that they had to take.
Absolutely right on Tony. Another restructure wouldn't be practical for either side. It's tough to see a good player leave but you have to pay the bills and both staff and players know how it is. I wish JFM the very best, unless of course, he's playing us.
