Question for Jets fans. Titans was the original name before change to Jets. So why did they change name from NY Titans to NY Jets? Did the change by the new Owner who didnt like the logo? Or owner was a big fan of West side story and Jets gang, or because team moved from Polo grounds to Shea with Mets by the airport and Jets flying over? Which one Jets fans? Lmao

Because it rhymed with jets and they would be a disaster, (like a jet crash).... really because it rhymed with jets and they would be playing near LaGuardia airport.
