I'm not defending Geno, I've been fairly vocal in my belief that he should be competing for the backup spot at best next season, but let me get something straight. If Geno overthrows his receiver, it's Geno's fault. If Geno puts the ball up for the receiver to make a play and he doesn't, it's Geno's fault. If the receiver does and it's a great touchdown throw (okay - a bit under thrown but nonetheless) and catch (Harvin was masterful on that play) it's all on the receiver? Doesn't a receiver make a Quarterback?
Like I said, I'm really not defending Geno. I just can't wrap my head around that logic. Go Jets!
I'm rooting for Cleveland. They're up 7-0 over Indy.
Wow. Johnson was wide open. He got popped and fumbled but Minny recovered it. Johnson made Marcus Williams look silly.
Duck Bowl update
Jax up 7 -3
Bucs only down 4
Thought you culdn't fumble into the end zone for a TD? Guess they changed it
The announcer just said that's only within two minutes of the half. If it happened then, they would have placed the ball at the spot of the fumble.
Completely agree and I am guilty with saying that each time but I guess that's a respect you earn over the years in the league. What we expect for Geno is to put the ball somewhere that his teammates can make a play. He's been throwing it to the opposing team.....
