The Bills didn't choose to kick. They chose to defer. That gave the Jets first choice for the first half, and they chose to receive. Then the Bills chose to have the wind at their backs.
The Bills get first choice to start the second half.
What happened in the Pats game is that they did not have the option to defer, since there is no second half. They chose to kick, and should have chosen which end to defend.
if Powell was in we would of utilized him over the middle dump routes, what we don't have anyone to fill in that role because these out passing routes are not cutting it...

Fitz has been victimized by two first down drops. Thompkins and Marshall both should've caught those. That's not Fitz's fault.
