Some preseason predictions by NostraHYATT™.
Decker will be a league leader in receptions. - he is currently T-18th overall, T-15th among WRs, with 66. (BM is T-4th, with 89.) ED is 6th overall in receiving TDs with 9. T-12th overall in 1st downs.

Fitzpatrick will be the Jets starting QB in Week 1. - check, albeit by a different route than HYATT™ expected.

Jets will make the playoffs as at least a WC & no worse than a (10-6) record. - about to come true.

Jets will have a Top-3 defense. - currently the #1 rushing defense in the NFL, but not quite Top-3 overall.

Westhoff said a friend of his was at the game, the guy is an official, and he called Westhoff after that penalty that negated a FG (Bullock missed on the next try so it cost us three points) and he told Westhoff there was no penalty on the play, he never saw that called before, asked Westy if he saw a penalty, and Westy said he never saw that called either, he said Douzable was supposed to be in a two point stand and there was no movement, a total BS call ... and of course the horse collar was absolute HORSE SH*T too.

I don't believe we were screwed by refs on purpose. They are just incompetent. I think tonight was more about our incompetence than the refs. We need to clean it up quickly.

@ Buffalo is the one that scares me, cause its tough to get a win in that building in December/January to begin with, then when you add in the Rex factor, I know his team will be chomping at the bit to wreck our season. So thats the one that worries me. The Pats are better than Buffalo, but I can't see us losing next week at home, that crowd is gonna be nuts and the team should feed off it, so I can't see a slow start. I see 60 minutes of maximum intensity from the Jets next week.

I consider top 10 a league leader. 18 is closer to thirty than 1

Kenbrell Thompkins MONSTER GAIN big 1st down

I hate to focus on the negative cause that was such an ENORMOUS PLAY in the game, but man is he slow!

Odell Beckham would have taken that to the house running backwards. If you beat the CB on a Stop & Go that badly, with no safety help over the top, you should high-step the last 30 yards and score. I should know, that was my signature move in street football back in the day :global (35):

After slugging it out last time against the Pats with victory in our grasp, the loss sent us into a tailspin laying an egg in Oakland followed by losing 2 of the next 3 games. There's no telling how emotions will ride after next week, win or lose. Expect Jets to put all chips in. What follows is my concern.

Kenbrell Thompkins like Eric Decker and even Brandon Marshall are all known as possession receivers, meaning they don't have true afterburners to out run the secondary but his catch was at the perfect time and was clutch that he didn't drop it. Meaning come next year's draft we target a vertical option, and hope Devin Smith continues to develop.

Sometimes you win ugly. The bottom line is they won. Everyone knew Dallas has a great o-line, especially run blocking. I wasn't surprised to see McFadden run like he did. But when Kellen Moore comes into the game, the Jets absolutely needed to finish this game with a W.

On to the Patriots. 9-5 is a good thing.

Well its a win nonetheless but a sorry one at that. I have to admit, the Cowboys defense is very tuff but the Jets should have won this game a lot better then this. Our offense and special teams sucked ass all game and our #5 ranked defense allowed a back-up to come in the game and move the ball and score on them twice. Sorry to say this Jets faithful but the Jets will lose to the Pats next week. Hopefully they can beat the Bills and end their season with a respectable 10-6 record.

Icing on the cake and saddest part about all of this is, the First Take fans have to hear that sorry ass Skip Bayless still talk shit about if this and if that and the Cowboys should have did this and the refs missed this and that call and the Jets got lucky on this and that etc-etc BULLSHIT from that idiot. Sad part about it is whatever he says about this game Monday will be the truth and I will hate that shit with a passion!

Huh, what the hell are you talking about? The Jets barely won yesterday against a beat up and battered team they were clearly better then. Yes the Cowboys defense is excellent and alot better then I realized. That should not have mattered in this game because the Cowboys should not have been able to gain more then 150 and score a point with our supposed vaunted defense. Our offense was unprepared and sloppy all damn game. Penalties like as if we were the Bills and special teams were disgusting also. That is not the makings off a true playoff threat team. Same with the Eagles and Texans game. No way in hell they should have beat us but they did.

The Bills game was a pure embarrassment because everyone know what that meant. Especially the Jets and they let Rex Ryan bring his team back into Metlife in his first against his old team and they won. Now the Pats and Raiders losses were alot more understandable. The Pats are the Pats and eventhough they gave that game away, they played a hard respectable game to build off of. The Raiders game they were just out matched period by younger and I guess better talented team. Yesterday game shouldn't have gone down like that and if that's any indication of how they will look the next two weeks, they will probably lose both games and definitely be home early. PERIOD!
