With the second fastest release time in the nfl, Brady is different. This is a tough game every year.

My fear is the effect of mediocrity. We may be chasing the playoffs just to miss out, and penalize ourselves with bad draft position and a harder schedule next year.

BTW, is fitzpatrick number one??

as far as the draft, we already have 9 wins so we won't be in great drafting position no matter what happens in the next two weeks..

& the "strength of schedule" has always been misleading.. to me at least..

key injuries that happen or are avoided, losing or keeping key FAs, signing FAs that do or don't work out & drafting well or horribly..

oh & when don't teams "surprise" & have a much better or worse season than the "experts" expected??

The Bills and the Dolphins the same easy schedule for all but two of their 16 games

Both have WORSE records in 2015 than last season

The Jets with the same schedule have improved from 4 wins in 2014 to 9 wins in 2015 with two games still remaining to be played

Reasons

Better GM
Better HC and coaching staff
Going from the WORST QB in the NFL to one of the top half or better

And a bad team would not have reached five wins on that schedule . Dolphins and Bills had similar schedules and where are they? Jets have taken care of business

And you forget Better personnel up and down. This roster on both sides of the ball is way better that last year.

As much as I want to win this game, tonight this game was put into perspective as the community 10 miles from me was devastated by a tornado outside of Dallas. At least 7 people dead so far. Lucky that it wasn't 10 miles to the west or it might have affected me. Hard to see people lose their homes especially when you see someone that you have known for 10 years with no house left. A girl I used to coach lost their house. Luckily all are alive. I know this is not the place to post this but I just needed to get it off my chest.

Sorry. I found out another current athlete who is 18 and on a full ride scholarship to Oklahoma State was huddled in her closet and house and family are fine. Oh and one more thing...F the Pats!!

With all due respect, you play with the cards that your dealt. How many teams haven gotten to 14-2, with a 1st round bye and lose to an 9-7 squad. It happens many times. The principle of the matter is to win games and have a shot at the Superbowl.

Trust me, if by some chance we make it into the playoffs, no one will be having this discussion. As many eluded to it earlier, we have taken care of bushiness. Something we were not able to do since 2011.


Plus, there is always a perpetual mantra with the Jets from fans and outsiders trying to seek answers when and why they are winning as it is such a shock when not dwelling in the cellar.

1st, they got lucky in 2009 as the Colts sat down their players, Jets backed into the playoffs.

2nd, the 2010 team had a weak division and conference.

now third its because we have a weak schedule.

Also, many pundits have their bullets well cocked within their guns tomorrow after we beat the Pats today placing an emphasis that the reason why we won is because "Brady had no weapons".

My question is this, "Why not just enjoy the ride?" We might not see the Jets make it to the playoffs this year if the games dont fall onto our favor. Meaning we wont have the luxury of watching our beloved team for another 10 months.

But if they do make it, screw every one else my man. Just look at the 2011 Giants. Wild card at 9-7. Won the Lombardi trophy, they're not complaining one bit that their respective schedule was soft, hard or lucky as hell to squeak into the playoffs as a 6th.

As they say, once your in, all that was done in the regular season means nothing. LETS GET THIS WIN TODAY AND MAY THE PIECES FALL WHERE THEY MAY!! GO JETS BROTHER!!!
