Tennessee sucks and we should pound them and the Cowboys before the real teams. The offense is playing well and the defense was ok without Revis. I sure hope he doesn't screw up this run.

That's all very nice, but when the games counted weeks 9-13 here's what he did.
Week 13 Fish QBR 1.7 That's right a 1.7

Week 9 N O 17.4 Lights out game for Geno
Thing is he didn't play much better in 2014, except again of course against the Fish in Week 17

Agree with your point of a running QB is the Jets down fall, not sure Henderson is the solution. Davis is actually much better against the run then Henderson, who seems to be much better against RB's out of the back field. they have been playing fairly well as a tandem.
Will be interesting to see how the CS handles the reps. Suspect it will continue as it has for the last few weeks. Davis on the field when the base is on the field, Henderson when the nickle and dime come out.
It's possible that Bowles goes with a lot of dime packages.

Here's the thing about that. If they're looking to get the run game on track early, it leaves the team to decide the plan of attack. Either something a little different, just line up and play physical or come out aggressive. I think Chan likes to see how the defense comes out, see what they're willing to concede. We need to get a TD in the first quarter especially if we get 3 drives.
Well I believe Davis is only better with runs up the gut. I think Mariotta will be more of a bootleg, rollout threat. That's where an inside out blitzing tandem who can also work on containment is important. I also believe if Mariotta avoids our rush by running, wr need lighter lbers who can run around all game and not get winded.

Assuming your right about smaller LB's , Lattimore might be your guy. Henderson is actually bigger then Davis.
Appox weights: Lattimore- 230 Davis-240 Henderson-250
Lattimore might see a few more reps, Bowles mentioned him in his presser today. If it's speed your looking for to contain Mariota, again, it won't be Henderson. Davis is actually fast, and a side line to side line player. He ran a 4.6 at the combine. He just takes bad angles in coverage, but like I said, he is very effective against the run. Henderson ran a 4.73 We'll see how it plays out on Sunday
