Garrett Wilson and our WRs

- First let me say that I think we have a 1,000 plus yard receiver in Wilson. I’m talking 80 plus catches and 10-plus TDs also. He showed signs of being a #1 guy last week and solidified what he can be and is this week. They just have to keep him on the field and get him the damn ball!!!
- E. Moore is still a beast and will get his but Wilson is on another level. 2-3 in fact.
- C. Davis is that wildly vet that can be a excellent #3. As long as he can stay healthy.
- Berrios, can’t forget this guy. He’s a beast and can contribute in a major way.
- Mims, I hope they find away to keep and incorporate him in the game constantly.
- Everyone else can get there’s in bit and pieces as well.
- Overall we have ourselves a very good WR core for years to come.

I'm happy that Wilson is really showing that he is a dog and a force to be reckoned with.

Moore will get his and I like how they are moving him around and using him in the slot (that is where I feel he is the most dangerous and his strengths will shine).

I'd like to see if Mims can contribute in this group and honestly watching the production, Davis minutes is where he should be eating ;)

Wilson and Moore keep this up, they will make Zach Wilson look very very good!

The way he was like 5yards open on the 1st TD showed me everything... the real deal

It’s not fair to judge a young QB without WR’s. And the Jets have WR’s, TE’s and RB’s. Zach Wilson has everything he needs.

Regarding GW, I said it yesterday. I see Justin Jefferson potential. He’s the real deal.
1,000 percent agree!

Correct me if I’m wrong but he only played 6 downs last week and had 4 catches for 52 yards. If that’s correct, that’s a sign right there of what he’s about! Number #1 potential and talent and stats so far that proves it!

Having two QB’s who can sling it is a positive.

With that said, there’s no way Zach sits on the bench if he’s ready to go. You drafted this kid #2 overall to be the franchise QB. Zach Wilson is playing when he’s ready. No doubt about it.
that's not crazy talk.. my thing since wilson went down has been flacco can't have the offense humming only to have wilson grind it to a halt..

would be beyond great if the kid comes in & lights the football world on fire?? does he have to do that?! of course not..

but in year 2 in an offense that clearly works he needs to start looking like the 2nd overall pick in the draft.. too much talent around him now not too..

Zach will be just fine. Great actually I believe! As long as he can stay healthy??? He will be just fine!

Elijah Moore was never the Batman of the WR corp in college......and until now he hasn't had a Batman to his
Robin. Expect Moore to thrive going forward.

Truth of the matter, Berrios should be on the bench. That's the next sign of progress. Moore should be slot. Bring Berrios in for 4+ WR sets and running the sweep....but let's remember the knock on him before the OC found a way to better utilize his skillset was that he struggled at times to get open/gain separation. I still don't see him doing much beyond 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. I like him on our roster, but him starting is holding somebody back. Will be an interesting to see the lineup to start vs Bengals.

interesting take on starting moore in the slot over berrios..

keeping your best WRs on the field together makes sense to me as well..
Personally I've been saying since we drafted Moore that he is best suited for the slot. He is best on the move and creating mismatching all over the field.

I'm praying Wilson comes back and keeps buzzing with these guys. Wilson has shown he can be a stud! Hopefully Zach can click with Garrett and keep this up

wilson as a rookie going into week 3 is already WR1 in solid WR room..

moore can be a great long fit at the slot with the ability to play well on the outside if needed..

i'm digging it..

I agree with all of this but even with this win our "O" line is not yet playing as well as they should be. Defense didn't get to the QB enough either. There needs to be more pressure there. Hopefully they will improve a lot real soon and then I'll be willing to say that Zach has everything he needs. They won this game playing with a lot grit and a lot of luck. They need to replace most of that luck with skill and not count on the luck. I think they can win this Sunday if they eliminate the penalties, don't turn the ball over and make those other mistakes, fumbles, drops, etc. but they are headed in the right direction.

It’s a good problem to have. This kind of depth at WR. I see the WR room this way:

1. Garrett Wilson
2. Corey Davis
Slot: Elijah Moore, Braxton Berrios.

Berrios is great on the jet sweeps and end arounds. Plus you have to figure injuries will happen at some point, and that’s where depth will be huge.

I see Z. Wilson fitted this situation we have now like no other. Being able to move and improvise when needed to find that open player is value unlimited. He won’t have to do it much or for long because we have weapons all over the field now. Someone will always be open, 2-3 players maybe.

All he’ll needs to do is find the best one or anyone of them in those 2-3 seconds he has in the pocket or on the move. He’ll be better than just fine. Add in the fact that he can run for 10-15 plus yards with no problem, throw the ball at all angles and has a gun on top of that and we have ourselves a QB Jets faithful!
