What can I say? It s those eyes......................those crazy eyes..................I just can't take this guy seriously.
Say what you want about the eyes, but I like the honesty. He knows that this year will be a microscope year for him. He doesn't have all of the pieces he needs but how he handles what he has in Darnold and Bell will be critical. I'm hoping he succeeds because I don't want Darnold to have to go through another coaching staff and scheme.

I give Gase maybe 1/3 credit for admitting and owning up to his mistakes. I will give him the other 2/3 credit when he learns from his mistakes and adjusts accordingly.
although for him to admit he was wrong seems like a pretty big step for him. His arrogance is something that has been talked about since long before he got here.

I agree with this 100%, let's see how it changes things. Maybe he's transitioning from a precocious wonder child OC (at least in his own mind) to a real Head Coach. I do want him to succeed. The team needs it, Darnold needs it and we need it.

were his eyes like that when he coached in Miami? normally, I'd joke about it but that is just seriously odd and if he always looked like that, wouldnt someone have made a joke of it before? I kinda wanted to write it off as some weird phenomenon that just happened at his first press conference and maybe some how we just imagined or exagerrated it but it clearly was not
