Geno Smith Out 6-10 Weeks

Right now Fitzpatrick is the starting QB. It's an opportunity for him to hold it for the season if he plays well. Bowles indicated today that Geno will not be the automatic starter when he is healthy.

Villian over at JN convinced me Glennon would be a good trade, depending on the price. Just don't think the Bucks want to cut him lose right now.

Next pre - season might be the time for that.

I was 11 when I saw that SOB and worshiped the guy ; like all kids did. At least we got to see the NFL changing the guard. The poor slobs that never saw this team a success have paid the price.

If Mike can pry loose Zach Mettenberger from Tennesse, then we'd have something special at the QB position. At this point IMHO, Fitz will be our Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer and Jim mcMahon that will try not to lose the game and leave it up to this stout defense to win us the match.

I just have to wonder why Smith just didn't pay this guy. Apparently it had been going on for 3 weeks or so. Smith sees I K every day. Why not just write him a check. he said he would. Or so the story goes.

I suspect this wasn't the first time they had a discussion on this.

IK is clearly a thug, sayonara asshole, but Smith easily could have defused the situation by reimbursing the man for that 600, which is only fair since you made a commitment and couldn't keep it, and it cost the kid money. Just pay the f***in' guy and END IT, 600 Dollars is TIP MONEY to an NFL QB!!

I'm not excusing IK's behavior, HE'S GONE AND HE SHOULD BE GONE, but Geno Smith is a moron or a tightwad, or both.

With our luck he'll go to Buffalo and become one of the leagues elite young pass rushers, and of course he will torment the Jets twice each year inside the division. If you've been a Jets fan for any length of time, you know its going down that way.

No reason to think Geno won't be back after the bye. If Fitz gets hurt in the first four weeks, we can just let Petty do a Geno impersonation circa Miami 2014 . . .

if geno derailed this/his season over 600 bucks he knew he owed, then he is one of the biggest idiots I've ever heard of.
he should see some of the prices the fans pay just to see one home game, that selfish a hole.
That kid IK was also having a good camp from the reports ive seen. What an absolute clusterf ck.
