It's sad for Becton. IMHO he carries to much weight for his body to handle in a demanding sport as NFL football. Some may say, "Well the Fridge did it". Two different people.

I predict that the Jets will improve by 3-4 games this year, and Wilson will take a step forward in his development. Unfortunately, I also predict that there will be a few ugly games this season defending the run. Until I see otherwise, the run defense is a major concern. Other than Lawson and Alexander, we’re bringing back the same front 7. It’s gotta be better this year or we’re gonna lose ugly against the better running teams.

Zach will show himself to be nothing more than an average game manager ala Jimmy G, and we will be drafting another QB next year. I hate to say that..... but even after his return from injury last year ( with the exception of the Bucs game), that all he really was ....

PLEASE DONT SAY THAT! Let’s try and be a little more optimistic than this. I’m giving Zach until the end of this year and next year to show me something and then I’ll throw him to the wolves. I gave Darnold 3-years, so it’s only right I do the same for Zach.

1. Team will win 7-8 games…. 5 wins in the last 9 games. JD, Saleh and LaFluer survive… Ulbrich doesn’t
2. Zach will prove to be a Jimmy G game manager
3 Garrett Wilson will prove he is the best WR we have
4 DL will prove to be pretty good, secondary (with the exception of Sauce)… not so much
5 Max Mitchell will struggle early on, but will show he is a respectable starter by year end
6 Flacco will win a couple of starts
7 Running game will suck early on, but will get better as the year progresses
8 TE issues will prove to be solved
9 Quincy Williams will lose his starting gig to Alexander by game 3
10 Woody will continue to prove he is a douche …….

Much of this depends on Mitchell.

Secondary…..
Reed…. Good but banged up. He may miss time
Sauce…. No issues. Guy will be great
Carter…. He is a solid slot guy
Joyner….. he isn’t great. Questionable starter at this stage of his career
Whitehead…. He is fine
B Hall…. Looked terrible during the preseason.
Echols….. haven’t heard much about him during camp… maybe that’s a good thing
Davis….. he sucks
Adams…. Unproven

The starters are fine. Depth is a bit of a question mark. If everyone stays healthy, I’ll agree they can be pretty good. To be honest, I’m more concerned with Ulbrich’s schemes exposing them rather than their overall talent
