The last few years, we stopped sending holiday cards. Mainly because most of the folks on our extensive list either died or stopped sending before us.
I actually like getting some the annual I don't want to talk to you cards, especially the ones that are the family pictures. You watch the kids of the people who you don't want to talk to either grow up that way. You also see if the family pet still kicking and who went to Disneyland that year.
Better are those that come with the annual report, headlined by month and briming with details such as little Jimmie's crowning achievement of completing 6th grade and the new roof after the big storm
Years ago, we planned to take a picture of ourselves in our baseball seats at Shea all bundled up and send out holiday cards that said "Off Seasons Greetings". Never got around to it though but ...
