Gregg Williams and this attacking defense

so far his reputation and the way our team is playing on the field are two different scenarios...

I was hoping that he would be able to get more out of our guys but to this point I am disappointed...

there was some aggression shown in the 3rd quarter, even Leonard Williams showed up along with the rookie Q. and Jordan Jenkins. but where is this all game long, from the opening gun to final whistle.

Trumaine Johnson showed he can tackle but can't cover a nose bleed letting dimes being thrown right by him... Darryl Roberts is becoming a flag machine this year. The only corner that looks good and we should be thinking of trying to retain him moving forward is nickel corner Brian Poole.

I am fearing the time is coming soon that Jamal Adams will be requesting a trade away from Gang Green, just because there is no fight from this group.

Noticed the pressure and hits that they got on Brady forcing him to do his impression of Sam Darnold tossing it up for Trumaine Johnson to get his first pick of the season.

They have enough talent across the board to be getting real pressure on the opposing quarterbacks while still being able to shut down the run game. Just don't know how handcuffed Gregg Williams is, because I don't think he has the green light to coach his unit the way he wants too... Another Gase problem...

even Francessa was just sayin, when they are clearly running up the score, someone on the Jets should have hit brady to send a message. take the penalty and send a message. Isn't this the guy who supposedly put out bounties? last night he should have had one on brady. I would happily pitch in

ASs for the defense? they actually did really well only giving up 33. cheetahs score 33 on everyone except Buffalo and they were trying to humiliate us and all they did was put up their average.

That's pretty good considering we have no offensive players on the team and the defense is asked to play 60 minutes. Next year we should try picking up at least 1 or 2 guys to play on the offensive side of the ball. Maybe a QB and an Olineman. won't make us winners but 2 is way better then none

It was another game where we would have done better if we punted on 1st down. That's really cool. Not many teams can say that. In fact no other teams can say that. We win at that at least. Can't say we are losers in every respect

So for the lapses in defense at times I honestly can't be mad at the D at all. When a defense has to spend 70% of the game on the field because of the incompetent Offense they are going to get exposed over and over again.

If you look at the D against Dallas when we were able to actually put some points on the board they looked like a different team.

Greg Williams inherited these players but he has done a decent job in fitting a system around them that can work (we have no DB's and there is just nothing you can do when one bum just keeps getting picked on and thrown at every single play).

That being said, the defense is the least of this teams problems. Having an Offense that can't figure out which direction their supposed to be driving down the field, and ZERO ST play are much bigger issues.

I agree that swearing may be a little foul sometimes and I try not to swear as much as possible but on they of the Bi annual cheetah beat down I can't help but use the f word every other word. and this will go on all week. and I only watched 3 plays
