Jets run the ball and stuff the run, we control the clock make the Packers one dimensional, and our special teams shows up again giving us the advantage I believe another modest game from Geno where we utilize Hall, Allan and Saddiq. I expect us to put the same type of number like we did against Tennessee. Our defense won't let up against the run and our defense has enough juice to slow down the passing attack. Yes key players are out, but next man up, this team has veterans throughout and they will be ready for the challenge fuck the so called experts who stated the Jets would be run over by a broken down Titans team.

Our depth on the OL has the right depth to compete if one man goes down. If we need we can split time between Max & Chuk at either tackle position. Max is not half bad he actually can hold his own if the Guard play is solid. not like yester years. if need be we have tight ends and a fullback to help out in blocking giving us the ability to not be one dimensional.

I have confidence in our Jets winning this game but I do worry about two things.

1. Can and will Geno remain healthy and if so, will he avoid the bone head mistakes he makes every now and then that will cost the game? The Jets running game will be there and dominate but GB secondary seems to be weak also. So can we take advantage of that?

2. Will the secondary stand up to the GB passing offense? Yes, our run defense should and will be stout and the passing attack will be there but there will be opportunities at times for Jordan Love to complete passes. When this happens, will the secondary stand up and avoid giving up the big plays?

We don’t want to find ourselves in a position where the Jets have dominated the game and time of possession but they still lose or are in jeopardy of losing because they gave up a few big plays for TDs or fields goals.

Do both. cram the ball down their throats to bring up their secondary. then, let Geno cook.

Yes, our run defense should and will be stout and the passing attack will be there but there will be opportunities at times for Jordan Love to complete passes. OTOH, THE GLASS IS 1/2 FULL TOO. WE DOMINATE, AND THEN SEAL IT WIH A STRIP SACK BY Willy Mac while Barnum Bailey scoops & scores like a real winning team finishes, right?!?!

Supposed to be A very rainy day so that and the Jets pass rush vs green bays weak o line should limit Jordan Love and Green Bays passing game

The New York Jets are getting healthier as they prepare for a Week 2 clash with the Green Bay Packers.

Thursday’s injury report featured two starters making their full return to practice after having “limited” designations on Wednesday: linebacker Jamien Sherwood and cornerback D’Angelo Ponds, the latter of whom missed the season opener.

I've been waiting 60 years for someone to wipe the grin off the face of that smirking bast**d Vince Lombardi. Please, guys, do it for posterity. Let's win it for the old AFL.

This definitely works in the Jets favor. The Jets are a team build for those weather type of games. A strong running attack and built to stop the run and rush the passer. Let’s go!!!
