Why do we need stronger gun-control laws I think stronger vetting practices or laws would prevent more violence than guns.

Guns and Gun Violent

It seems that Gun violent is on the rise. With the killings in San Bernardino, CA rises the question about gun control. It seems that the Left jumps on the band wagon on more gun control every time there is a gun related killing. More gun control is not the answer especially since we can't enforce the ones we have. The killers in California had legally possessed hand guns but the long rifles, where did they get them. If you go to a gun store or an major department store that sell guns, you have tight registration and background checks BUT is you go to a gun show, there is no checks that I know of. Correct me if I'm wrong.
These ISIS terrorist have ways of bringing in guns or they have contact with black market gun outlets. It seems that the ATF cannot locate and close down illegal sources of guns sales, especially military grade weapons. How well does the military and manufacturers of military weapons keep tabs of every AK assault rifles, which seems the weapon of choice? Do they always report missing shipments or storage? These guys are getting them somewhere and the ATF have no clue where.
Bottom line, the guns are not the issue. If guns kill people and need to be banned then cars which kill people need to be banned. That would be ridiculous. Cars don't kill. Careless people and drunkards that sit behind the wheel kills. The same with gun. The guns don't kill, it's the people behind the trigger.
Though I can't see the need of an AK Assault rifle to protect your home, at least in the pass. People have the right to own them if they qualify. But with the rise of Terrorism and the influx and growth of ISIS support groups in America and the inability of this current government to protect us, maybe an AK Rifle needs to be in every law abiding citizens' home.
My big question, how in the heck can someone start up a bomb building factory in their home or garage? Do neighbors have a "look the other way" mentality. Do we protect our rights of privacy at the cost of safety? "I didn't want to profile" says a neighbor of the San Bernadino killer. Being "politically correct" cost 14 lives and broken homes and 17 people that has to live with the memory of how close to death they were.
Wake up America!

Hopefully LaPierre and his NRA are officially designated as a terrorist organization, closed down, funds frozen and leaders detained as enemy combatants.

Yep guns are not the problem, poor vetting process by our muslim president might have something to do with it. If anything had someone had a gun in San Berdanino only 1-2 people might be dead not 14.

We've become a Godless nation. Even electing a Muslim for President. This is because Christians across American have become tolerant and apathetic. I can remember growing up (telling my age) when NO stores were open on Sunday. Pledge of Allegiance and prayer was allowed in schools. Now the Muslim faith is being taught in school but Christianity is not allowed. The Ten Commandments are being taken down in public places. Yes, it's all because we've become a Godless nation.
God Bless America Again.

There are laws today that allow just about any loon walk into a gun show and purchase a weapon with no checks whatsoever.... So yes you need stronger gun control laws.

Your assumption is that if someone had a gun they could have stopped the shooting.... I don't doubt it, if that person was properly trained on responding to a terrorism attack.

Otherwise I somehow doubt that a civilian could quickly and effectively respond to a multiple shooter situation like they had in SB.

I would bet there would be just as likely be bystanders killed by those returning fire in a crowded and panicked auditorium.

Mandatory and high level gun training would be a good start for everyone who wants a concealed carry permit. I mean VERY rigorous training. The problem is that a lot of those who want to carry even see training as some sort of affront to their 2nd amendment rights.

There has to be a compromise between the insane gun lobby stance of zero control and that of outright banning. The problem is that the NRA is simply a mouthpiece for the gun industry and aren't really interested in changing anything that might slow down the purchase rate of weapons.

It's too bad gun owners line up behind an organization that represents the gun lobby and not the best interests of gun owners.
