Now we can be pretty confident that Mad Dany doesn't survive the final episode. And Drogon. Got to be a reason why Bronn was given a large crossbow.

Arya gets Dany but you think the dragon gets it too? I do wonder what Bronn will do in this episode

I'm on holiday for a week and so it will be almost impossible for me to avoid spoilers before I get to watch the final episode. I'm less worried now I know my favourite characters will be dieing (Drogon we hardly knew you). I think that after the Dany denouement Bronn will appear to save Tyrion from an enraged Drogon. Perhaps his price will be the Iron Throne (what's twice Highgarden?).

The final series has been rushed, good direction but poor script-writing. All the scorpions suddenly have cross-eyed gunners. Dragonfire can explode thick walls with minimal contact. Euron is suicidal. Dany goes mad and destroys the Red Keep and some civilians get killed as collateral damage, that I will buy. Going up and down the street grid deliberately targetting women and children I won't buy. Unless......

What would be a brilliant start to the final episode is she announces that she never wanted the Iron Throne in the first place ('Cold metal is bad for my piles') and just intended to implement her father's wish to burn down King's Landing. And now she's off home and Jon Snow is welcome to it.

If you're wondering where the piles have come from, you try being a Mother of Dragons.

Not a bad script for a guy who's just a Jet fan. not sure Varys would have liked Bronn on the iron throne though. I was pretty surprised with the burning all the innocents in the street thing

I hope the prequel series is at least close to as good. I watch very little new tv so I'm really going to miss this

Managed to avoid the spoiilers during my holiday, possibly because the final episode was so lame..Creating something where the whole is less than the sum of the parts brings us back to the Jets. The last twenty minutes with the vignettes of the characters riding off was sleep-inducing. Obviously Bran should rule the realm by dint of falling from a tower. Only good news is that Drogon escapes.

It could have been SOOO much better. Imagine Dany is in the throne room, Arya is drawing a bead on her with her bow and then... A noise from behind, Arya turns and sees Littlefinger. He draws her dagger from her belt and plunges it in her. As she falls, Littlefinger peels off his face to reveal our old friend Two-faced Fred from Bravos who has finally caught up with her.

I also like the idea that whoever kills the Dothraki's Khal is the new Khal, so Jon Snow's punishment is to lead them back to Essos and spend the rest of his life in a tent.

Can you believe that Kit Harrington is in rehab after seeing the script?

Glad you avoided the spoilers. After watching the finale the first time, I really wasn't sure what to think. I thought about what ending I would have been good with and I really wasn't sure, so I rewatched it a couple more times and I then became ok with it

Still wish it has lasted longer but I'm ok with it. A little surprised but still ok with it.

Yeah. What's up with Jon Snow , spotted in a bookstore here in Ct., Then checked into rehab. He must have had a hard time dealing with killing his aunt.

I read a lot about the final episode. I guess going into the first script reading, Dany had read it in advance but Kit had waited til the reading to find out what happened and as they read through the script he just looked up and said "no"" . Pretty sure it even said that he cried. So maybe it did screw him up a little? Of course he then goes home to his real wife who was killed in front of his eyes a few seasons back
