Two points: 1) part of creating a better culture is paying your best players and Hall clearly was a bright spot on a shit offense last year, and 2) the RB market with D Robinson and Lion’s rb is about to explode so Hall’s deal might be a bargain.

His knee has never been the same. He had trouble with the knee twice during the season and it finally gave out week 17 . Couldn't play the final game. Lots of fans are claiming the Jets underutilized Hall but I think they were managing what the knee could handle.

Is he one of the top 3 -5 RBs in the league, probably not, so on the surface paying him like he was looks like overpaying him. However it makes sense to me in that he balances out the offense and the extra couple of million is worth it.

Biggest concerns I have with his contract are, is his knee going to hold up and is he going to be a better teammate , dare I say leader.... Time to STFU, stop complaining and actually earn those paychecks.

His deal is basically 2 years guaranteed at which time he will be 26 or 27, which should be his peak athletically. All of this is barring injury of course. I have a hard time criticizing this deal, unless I just want to be negative for the sake of being negative.

When you look at it it's really a 2 yr deal and imo that just about the time He will start to decline.
If not you're out from under in 2 Season's.
Looks good to other players when you take care of your own.
