URGENT MESSAGE (Please Read)

When I say ELITE, I mean ELITE, which is to say, the only types of GM's I'm interested in are serious and committed fantasy football fans who barring a catastrophe would not even think about missing the live draft, and who won't flake out and stop competing if the draft doesn't go their way or their team gets off to a rough start. Guys who maintain their rosters all year, compete to the bitter end, and don't wind-up giving other teams a quasi bye week because they lost interest.

If you fit that description, drop me a PM with an email address and I'll send you an invitation.

Its a free Yahoo league, 12 TEAMS head-to-head, top 6 make the playoffs, top 2 get 1st RD byes, bottom 6 eliminated.

The live draft is Wednesday, Sep 9 at 8:30 PM ET (arrive early) the night before the season opener.

Got the league half filled (6) on day one, not bad

6 spots remain open, but again, committed fantasy football players only, guys who will show for the draft and won't quit.

I don't care how good or bad you are at fantasy football, I'm no expert either, so long as you're competitive and won't quit.

2. Click the helmet icon near the top left of your team page

3. Change your team name and save changes

Also if you want to change your fantasy screen from dark to white (I prefer white), follow 1 & 2 of the above directions, then scroll down to "PAGE SETTINGS" and in the drop down menu for "PAGE THEME" change it from "Default Theme" to "Day Game (dark text on white)", then click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom.

I'm not going to join this league as time zones make life super difficult to manage things such as a live draft (I'm GMT+8 so 12 hours in front of NYC)

I would love to be able to 'watch' the league though so will there be updates posted here on the weekly matchups?
Can we visit the yahoo league page as a visitor / lurker?
Will the weekly matchups be posted in the betting section of this site so we can squander our hard earned virtual money on you guys?

You can prerank players before the draft and that will help to get a couple of players you really want on your team.

As for the weekly activities, timegzone issues aren't that critical really. You can check the waiver wire, pick up a player needed because of injuries or bye weeks and set your roster in one 15 minute session, maybe two a week even from the other side of the planet

SG, thanks but I've tried to draft the last 2 years by 'remote control' and it really doesn't work; if you get the draft wrong your season is sunk, hence finishing 12th and 11th respectively.

And with that record I really don't fit Hammers 'Elite' category lol.....

I'd rather watch and enjoy and root for you guys than suffer an entire season of dismal failure getting, once again, "The Sacko" trophy
