IMO Taylor was brought in as a backup, who, at worst, can start a few games while they continue to groom the QB they draft.

Landry, OTOH, is 25 and one of the best WR's in football, and the price was a steal, but that was getting another elite weapon for their new QB.

To complete the puzzle, Barkley would give them a BIG, FAST, STRONG, ELUSIVE, ELITE RB to lighten the load on their new QB too, but if they don't take him #1, HE'S GONE, guaranteed to the Giants or Colts at 2 or 3, so they have to take him #1 and then get their QB at #4, and that probably means the second QB in the draft, a draft with no clear-cut #1 QB.

That said ...

You can guess what the Jets might do with their second 2, but my my guess is Mayfield's Go-To-Guy at Oklahoma to help ease his transition, TE Mark Andrews.

Or maybe a CB, but I have a hunch we're gonna sign Malcolm Butler.

I hope we don't sign Butler. My guess is our 2nd Rd will be a RB. OL or CB. You really want Mayfield/Andrews tandem. I am hoping Allen or Rosen. Who knows, Maybe in 2-3 years when Mayfield becomes an All-Pro with Buffalo, you can tell us all, "I Told you guys"!

if Colts at 3 want OL, they can trade down and still get him while letting someone who wants a QB pay them for the spot

Redskins not taking a QB in first round after dealing for QB

I know Saquon Barkley is amazing, but even Cleveland cannot screw up this QB thing again, can they? Every QB needy team in the draft has a QB they prefer. I honestly cannot believe that a team (even the Browns!) would say “whichever QB is there at 4, we’ll take”. I predict the Browns take a QB first, then take a very good prospect like Fitzpatrick, Nelson, or Chubb at 4. Or trade down with Buffalo, who I’m convinced is moving into the top 5.

I agree with the previous poster about Washington, too. I don’t see a QB for them right there. Lamar Jackson reminds me of Tyrod Taylor. You take those types of QB’s in the middle rounds.

I can't see anyone in the top 4 wanting to drop as low as the 20s so I think BUF will have to get up around 10 or better first. It will cost them a lot, and they need more than a QB. I think the Taylor trade night mean they're going to sign a FA QB.

True, the Bills could be interested in Keenum, Bridgewater, Bradford, or McCarron. With those four and the four college QB’s expected to be drafted in the first round, we’re going to see a ton of activity over the next two months regarding QB’s.

And that doesn’t even include Foles possibly being dealt too.

I hope this is how the board falls. We desperately need some QB if we can’t land Cousins

I Just finished up RD 2, so I have the Jets second pick in RD 2 posted as well.

I would love for your mock to be true. I hope we shore up the Oline in free agency.

C Richburg would work. Jensen from Baltimore would be even better, but he’s gonna ask for a lot to leave the Ravens.

The guard from Carolina, Norwell, is a beast who’s going to get paid big. Doubt we’ll be interested in him, unless they dump Carpenter. Winters is still owed a ton of money.

There are virtually NO Tackles in this FA. It’s gonna be Beachum and Shell in 2018.

Norwell would be a great signing, but I wouldn't even consider Richburg. Missing 12 weeks from a concussion is a major red flag. He's one blow to the head from retirement.
