I'm surprised by a few. I too expect Big Cat to thrive with this front seven, but I would likely have Prez above him. And while I'd love to see a bounce back by Trumaine, should he be above Robby at this point?

i'm optimistic gregg williams & a pretty damn good front 7 finally gets the best out of leon williams.. i've been down on him as a 6th pick in the draft.. a lot..

You know what, I'm gonna take your advice on Adams over Leo and made the switch, but like you I think GW is going to unleash Leo on the QB like Bowles never did. I also think Quinnen Williams means 'no more double teams' for Leonard Williams.

As for Robby, I want to see him gain 1000+ receiving before I leap him over TJ who had tremendous success with Gregg Williams.

I'm on the fence with Polite. It all depends on whether he lives up to his potential or not.

Oh, he is the poster child for boom or bust.
crossing my fingers (not holding my breath) that the maturity light turns on for the kid at the pro level.. good news is nothing points to the current coaching staff will coddle polite.. he got hear a year late for that..

but i can't/wasn't mad at maccagnan for trying to draft our first real ER since john abraham..

If he doesn't shine in training camp he likely won't make the roster.

If Polite plays anything like his U of F videos, we may have ourselves the next Derrick Thomas, Dwight Freeney or John Randle. I mean he was rated a first round pick but fell for other reasons.

I agree. IF he plays up to his potential we have a star edge rusher on the roster,.............IF.............

They would be a cover corner away from elite.

I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but a great pass rush will mask inadequacies on the corner. Having both would be ideal and unless a trade happens we may have to just be satisfied with the pass rush part of the equation.

Agreed, though I would absolutely prefer both. Still, forcing a quick release takes a lot of pressure off the corners.
