Thanks Ham. We can't go wrong by selecting a WR. Who does White most remind you of?

FUCK NO. NO WEST VIRGINIANS. My main reason for the hate is I'm a Texas Jet fan, I watch alot of Big 12 football and I HATE West Virginia with a passion. 2nd reason for the hate is simply Geno Smith. When he said "Fuck You" to Jets fans I immeadiately said FUCK HIM and all WV players to come. Bitch ass Geno.

Its hard to say because he's similar to a lot of the BIG WR's who are dominating the league right now, but if I had to pick one I would say Alshon Jeffery, almost identical in size and speed and both are terrific hands catchers, guys who can go up and snatch it at its highest point over a DB, because they have what seems like catchers mitts, huge hands and they know how to use them. Athletically they seem about the same too. I wouldn't say they are exactly the same, but I see some similarities. I see some similarities with Dez Bryant too. So its those two I would use as current NFL comparisons.

*Homer Alert* lol

C'mon man, you can't take Diggs at 37, if you want a Corner you still have guys like Marcus Peters and Jalen Collins on the board.

Peters would be a steal if he wasn't such a thug, but of course if he wasn't a thug he'd be the first CB taken in the draft. One NFC Scout called him the best cover-corner prospect he's graded in 14 years. Unfortunately he can't seem to respect authority and has a history of fighting with his coaches, which is allegedly what got him thrown off the team this year.

I'm from Austin, Texas. Home of the Longhorns. I can hear the games from my house. Lol. But yes, I agree. Diggs isn't the best corner BUT is it too much to ask for Longhorn to be a Jet. Just one please. I get hated on everyday for being a Jets fan in Texas. I just want one Longhorn on the squad.

Is Kevin White worth drafting with the 6th pick? I think he has great potential to be a #1 WR in the league. He's fast, can catch and runs generally great routes. Another good CB is Kevin Johnson from Wake Forest is available also Eric Kendricks ILb is a great choice. One of those two are good choices.

If its any consolation, CWK, my all-time favorite NON JET is a Longhorn, Earl Campbell, aka The Tyler Rose.

He had a short prime because the Oilers ran him to death, but at his peak I think he's the best RB whoever lived.

Kevin White is a Beast, but not the player I want the Jets to select at 6. If we trade down, yeah.
I would take Devante Parker at 6 before White. White is about 6'1, not bad height. Parker is 6'3 and actually has ups like Dez and plays like Dez. However I believe the Jets will select Scherff in this draft scenario.

Jax, Kevin White and DeVante Parker are listed at an identical 6' 3"-210. We'll find out for sure at the combines, but thats where both are listed right now, and IMO White has more bulk, he looks more like 220.

Thanks for the mock, Ham

This should be the thread for updates, combine risers and fallers and additional mocks from any and all other NYJF amateur GMs and college scouting aficionados

Agreed. I've actually met him a few times around Austin. He still spends his time here because of how much he's loved by Longhorn fans. The guy is massive. He signed a Mini Helmet for me when I was a kid but sadly I lost it. He's our hometown hero in Austin. Hook em.

Honestly the way Bowles helped deal with the Honey Badger I think he can handle Peters...I haven't gone thru players but Ameer looks like the truth...but I ideally want Oline

How bout Cedric Ogbuehi?

I have him sliding to the 2nd RD because he tore his ACL, but ACL's are not the big deal they used to be and he could be your LT for the next decade after Brick, in the meantime he has experience at RT and OG too, because initially he was blocked at LT by Jake Matthews.

I read that he is now projected in 3rd...I would use third on him
