I agree with Rodgers though, Ward is full of shit! He came out and claimed after the show aired that he was pissed because they seem to be celebrating when his teammate could of possibly been hurt is a load of bull! No way he heard what they were saying in the huddle, he heard that shit on the show, so he is flat out lying about his late ass/cheap ass hit.

I had to go back and watch the game again to see where the extra stuff began. The out of bounds shove by Johnson on Taylor, followed with the face mask on Wilson by Gilbert came before Cobb's blindside helmet to helmet hit on McCain. In my opinion it's all part of the game and on a lighter note, I believe the Giants were a little annoyed when Rodgers got the applauds on their first possession. After all, it was a Giant home game and they began the first series with a zero coverage all out blitz. Both teams wanted to send messages. But I would prefer the starters to sit out these games. Shit, they have two weeks to get their act together. Why risk it?

Local-ish? IMO, a show like Hard Knocks just amplifies any misstep.

To my untrained eye, it appeared Hard Knocks was not that big of a distraction. Sauce really paid it no mind he said. What concerns me and it shouldn't, the non-Jets world thinks we Jets fans are over-cocky and no Lombardi for us will be hell. That in itself is ignorant considering all the factors contributing to its achieving that prize.
Let's have a good season,we Jets fans certainly deserve it.
