The silence, the silence of it all! Pretty safe to assume that the off-season is going well, especially for Zack Wilson. We all know that if Zack Wilson was struggling or the Jets as a whole were, it would be all over the main stream sports news. Now I’m sure that in the metro area sports stations, they are constantly following and speaking on the Jets but here in the other parts of the world they are not covered much at all.

All of the major sports networks like ESPN, NFL network, Fox sports etc. etc. hardly mentions them. Unlike teams like the Packers and the Dolphins. The Packers, it’s not just about Aaron Rodgers but the second year QB seems to be struggling a bit and with the Dolphins, Tua seems to be struggling abit. The Broncos seem to be getting quite a bit of coverage because do they really even have a QB? The Patriots also and their potential QB controversy.

So the silence of this off-season is actually a great thing for us. Think about all the other off-seasons when the Jets were struggling and how they were main stream sports news and just a pure laughingstock of the league. The Jets have alot of work to do and the fact that everybody knows it but nobody’s really talking about it, to me means that they doing a pretty good job and it’s all coming together pretty well.

Let’s all hope this keeps going and shows itself well come game time. J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!

The main reason there isn't a lot of negative news is that Mehta isn't there any more.
He wrote negative stuff just to be controversial, and other reporters (I use the term loosely) picked up on it and quoted it in their reports because most of the country, as well as ESPN, hates New York.

I honestly didn’t realize the Mehta wasn’t there anymore, guess I’ve been living under a rock with that one. It’s just amazing to me that a 24-hour NFL football network hasn’t talked much about the Jets this off-season at all really. ESPN with Mike Greenberg and we all know he’s a well recognized Jets fanatic fan, he hardly talks about them on his show.

Same with Rich Eisen, Dan Patrick and few others that are Jets fans and host these major sports shows. I’m sure they want to but they can’t be biased and if there ain’t nothing negative to talk about then what do they have??? You can talk about the good stuff with the Bucs and Chiefs because their winning teams. You can’t do that with the Jets or Jaguars etc. etc…

If it ain’t negative then don’t talk about them at all. LOL!!!
