UPDATE as he said Gaetano's surgery went well but he needs rest now & pray for him for his Monday procedure. I will keep you posted when I hear anything......Hang in there buddy!!!!!!!

Update, MRI today on my right foot. The injury from the car accident where I lost the pinky toe bone is being evaluated for rod replacement to help with the balance when they take the big toe tomorrow and partial of the other bone in my left foot.
Surgeon after the first surgery talked with Kailani and expressed his feelings which she told me that it would be best chance for me to live is to remove the big toe. Kai then told me I had a big choice to make but I said it was already made by her, as I will always do WHT she think is best, of course she started balling. The next few days are going to be hell but between here, Facebook and Twitter yall can reach out to me as all of you have helped my sanity not waiver nor Crack and I appreciate it, thank you.

I know, and yes everyone says they know, but I genuinely do from experience, that losing a big toe is a big deal because it ruins your balance, changes the way you walk and run and in general screws up your mobility. For many I guess that winds up being true, but, it doesn't have to be. I lost mine while serving aboard an aircraft carrier working on the flight deck and the Navy wanted me to take a medical discharge claiming I couldn't safely do the job any more. I told them where to go and refused the discharge on the grounds that I felt they were incorrect in that assessment. They designed a physical test that none of their staff could have passed to prove me wrong. I passed it with flying colors and they reluctantly returned me to my ship. My long winded point, my friend, is that losing a few toes, especially the big toe, isn't the end of it all but death is. You have been through so much already that parting ways with a big toe will be a walk in the park for you. All it will change is your shoe size on one foot and you can handle that.
