Now that's interesting. I disagree with the criteria though. You get points for hall of famers even though they earned the distinction with other teams (like Ronnie Lott) and give no consideration for how hard it was to get to the Super Bowl (Jets won one game to get in and it could have gone the other way versus the 2-3 games you need now)

Puts us last of all the original AFL teams despite the 10 pts for the Super Bowl, but how about the poor Lions?

Not fair for the expansion teams though. Should be a weighted average.

Its a stupid system its a team game.......lets put it this way..for all the "whining" Jet fans....the Jets have made 3 AFC championship games in last 25 years....6th in AFC and we didnt have Brady, Manning (who actually counts for 2 teams ahead..) Roethelsberger, Flacco
