How do you think Bill Bellichick would perform on an interview?

I feel so confident that our team is zipping around the country interviewing candidates. I feel great about Chucky Casserly, with his stellar history in hiring such greats as Norv Turner. I can see it now: "A Football Life, Charlie Casserly" They can focus on his drafting of Heath Schuler (the 4th greatest bust in NFL history).

This is Woody's chance to select his Vince Lombardi, and he retained Charlie Casserly to do it. Casserly is like the character "Mush" in A Bronx Tale. Woody should reject Charlie's recommendations and go with whoever he dislikes.

Interviews are a poor way to select great Head Coaches. :nudie:

Wow you really dislike casserly.

I actually love the guy. Local guy, worked his way up the ladder. He pointed out Bellichick's cheating back in 2006. Good man. I enjoy when he's on a pregame. But he's simply not good at selecting NFL Head Coaches. He's also not great at drafting. I didn't say anything bad about Charlie Casserly the person. I only mock his Head Coach selections and his awful drafts.

There's two underlying points: (1) Why doesn't anyone in the press point his out? They're tearing up Marrone for far far less. Is it because Charlie is one of them? Second point is that Woody selected this guy. Why? There were better candidates on that NFL Committee.

Little John loves Charlie Casserly.
