The league has become so dependent on QBs now that you basically have to have an elite one to win Superbowls. We see it year after year and even teams that have average talent but a very good QBs consistently make the playoffs.
First off, what do we think the cause of this is? Rule changes? Evolution of the game?
I really wish and think the league would be much better off with the QB being less valuable.
So, how do we change this? Will it ever change?
Even though, unlike most I knew it wouldn't stick, but I though the recent mobile QB trend could bring this change. That seems to be mostly dead now.
