I feel sorry for Woody

For those that know me you know that I don't like Woody & consider him a bad owner. I have said that people can change & I believe Woody has tried to stay out of the way this year(now I am not down there so I can't say this for sure). But, there are times that an owner needs to step in & tell the players that this is not a country club. Times that when a new coach may need a statement from the owner.

Anyway I do feel for Woody at this time.

I don't think Woody is that bad an owner. Many fans don't like him because of the PSL situation. Some Jets fans simply bash everything Jets.

I think Woody has shown a willingness to spend to improve the club and an understanding that the football guys make the decisions. I'm not sure Woody saying something would accomplish anything at this time.

At the end of the day, I feel bad for Woody because he DID what the fans wanted when it came to John Idzik and Rex Ryan. He thought he was hiring a great choice with Bowles and now this selection has blown up in his face far faster than Rex ever did. He probably thinks he failed the fans with this selection and I could not disagree more......

Sorry, but I just cannot agree with the statement that Bowles needs more time. Bowles should be fired at the end of the season. He got his chance and it was obvious to me right from the start that he didn't have it. He talk a big game, but he lacks the ability to put it into practice. This team is a train wreck and yet Mac has coddled Bowles this entire time. If Bowles cannot put it together when he's being spoiled what makes you think he'll actually do well when Mac can't afford to give Bowles everything he wants?

I don't agree at all. I like what Mac has done, overall. I think the roster is more talented than the play is showing. Bowles is not doing a good job so far this season, but let's not forget he brought us a 10 win season last year.

I'm not ready to move on from Bowles yet. Let's see how the rest of the season plays out. Do we really want to turn over coaching staffs every couple years? How's that working out for the Browns?

Mac has done much better than Bowles. At the very least the defense, Bowles specialty, should be playing better. The look lost and get schooled each week. I don't understand Richardson playing linebacker.

The biggest problem however is at the QB position. Let's face it Mac didn't have a lot of great options at QB this off season. I guarantee he wasn't crazy about signing Fitz.

What this team needs to see now is how the young guys can play QB. I'm sorry the season is over. They have 5 losses after 6 games and have to play the Pats twice. They have to give Petty and Hack some time to see what they got to make an informed decision. I don't mind dumping the season. Sometimes it warranted. If they don't play the young guys (not Geno) I will lose all faith in both Bowles and Mac.

Yea, i don't think Mac gets fired. The players he drafted need time to develop. On the other hand, I've seen enough of Bowles. I don't like his game day coaching.
