New Rules yes But Brady is by far the best QB we have seen in the last 20 years let us leave Manning, Rogers Etc on the sidelines. Amazing Comeback .....TB was the goat if any in this one.
I'm not as on board the anti-BB train as you. But the patriots did not draft well over the time-span when Brady was there. They had the luxury of trading back every year and amassing picks and basically "shooting buckshot at a barn."Bill Belichick can not sniff an AFC Championship game let alone a SB without Tom Brady.
And believe it or not but Bill Belichick has a career losing record without Tom Brady.
(And it's no small sample size either. It's damn near 10 NFL Head Coaching years worth of no Tom Brady).
Bill Belichick (the fraud) without Tom Brady =
1991 with Cleveland = 6-10.
1992 with Cleveland = 7-9.
1993 with Cleveland = 7-9.
1994 with Cleveland = 11-5 (lost in 2nd round).
1995 with Cleveland = 5-11.
FIRED!
2000 in NE with Drew Bledsoe and no Brady = 5-11.
2001 in NE with Drew Bledsoe before NYJ injured Bledsoe = 0-2.
2008 with Matt Cassel (after going 16-0 with Brady the season before) = 10-5 (and no playoffs) because Brady was 1-0.
2020 with no Brady = 7-9 (while Brady won a SB in Tampa Bay without his ass).
2021 with no Brady = 10-7 (Wildcard embarrassment and lost 47-17).
Including the playoffs (1-2 without Tom Brady) he's coached 9.2 years without Tom Brady but yet has a career losing record without Tom Brady of 68-80 (12 games below .500%) and a career "winning percentage" of only .459% throughout 148 career games without Tom Brady (no small sample size).
This fraudulent fraud isn't no great HC. He's a career loser without Brady who got lucky after passing on him more than 7x during the 2000 draft.
Adam Gase = .400% after 5 years.
Bill Belichick = .459% after 9.2 years.
Yes. Bill Belichick (without Tom Brady) is barely better than Adam Gase.
I'm so sick of people crediting Bill Belichick for Tom Brady that it's sickening to me when A.) Tom Brady not only SAVED Bill Belichick but also B.) MADE Bill Belichick and C.) Bill Belichick owes his entire coaching career to Tom Brady.
Oh yeah and Brady was underpaid for much of his time.I'm not as on board the anti-BB train as you. But the patriots did not draft well over the time-span when Brady was there. They had the luxury of trading back every year and amassing picks and basically "shooting buckshot at a barn."
Forget Cleveland. I would only look at belichicks patriot record without brady as that was his team and he had total controlBill Belichick can not sniff an AFC Championship game let alone a SB without Tom Brady.

I don't like him either, but that doesn't mean the guy isn't a football savant. and yes, he did get his start by putting together 2 Parcells teams. I always make that point too. but he kept that team winning for over 20 years and it wasn't just because of Brady. brady only wins when his team is the best. we saw that most recently yesterdayForget Cleveland? Why? Because he didn't take over a Bill Parcells stacked HOF Defense already in place, like he did in NE?
1991 with Cleveland = 6-10.
1992 with Cleveland = 7-9.
1993 with Cleveland = 7-9.

4/5 losing years in Cleveland.
Losing record of 37-45 (8 games below .500).
Nope. It doesn't quite work like that. His losing coaching career in Cleveland (without Tom Brady) matters and counts too.
And even if I "threw Cleveland away", he's still (also) below .500 in NE without Tom Brady.
2000 in N.E = 5-11 (without Tom Brady).
2001 in N.E = 0-2 (without Tom Brady).
2008 in N.E = 10-5 (without Tom Brady).
2016 in N.E = 3-1 (without Tom Brady)..
2020 in N.E = 7-9 (without Tom Brady).
2021 in N.E =10-8 (without Tom Brady).
35-36 overall @ N.E (without Tom Brady).
He's a freaking fraud. A mediocre below .500 coach without Tom Brady (both Cleveland and N.E. too).
he didn't comeback. he still lost. Majomes from his 25 with 13 seconds left getting a fieldgoal. that's a comeback. and wow!. brady never did that in 25 years and on way better teamsThat comeback by Brady yesterday was amazing. Pure magic even in this day of all O
he is a great qb when his team is great. so would a lot of other quarterbacks be. Stafford on a bad team never won anything. In one season on a good team he is 2-0. against guess who? tommy, the goat faced boyI hate brady too but he is a great great qb. General Grant picked the right side but he us still considered great
It was not me about staffordI don't like him either, but that doesn't mean the guy isn't a football savant. and yes, he did get his start by putting together 2 Parcells teams. I always make that point too. but he kept that team winning for over 20 years and it wasn't just because of Brady. brady only wins when his team is the best. we saw that most recently yesterday
look at this one. pretty sure it was you on another thread talking up Stafford. Stafford spent his career in Detroit and never won anything cause Detroit stinks. Now he's on a really good team and in just one season, he is one game from the superbowl. And better yet, in that year, he went 2-0 against the great Tom Brady.
Now imagine this. 25 years ago brady is not drafted by belichick, he is drafted by Detroit and Stafford is instead drafted by Belichick and spends his career behind a Dante Scarnechia coached offensive line.
Which QB then do you think has a better career? Keep in mind this. yesterday brady got a boo boo on his lip when he got hit for the first time in his career and he flipped out at the officials for not ejected the guy who touched him. Someone should have told him 25 years ago that football is a contact sport. then he never would have played
no one in the history of football did that from Johnny U, to Montana to Warner not even Todd That comeback & the one in the Super Bowl are amazing comebacks just amazing/he didn't comeback. he still lost. Majomes from his 25 with 13 seconds left getting a fieldgoal. that's a comeback. and wow!. brady never did that in 25 years and on way better teams
?It was not me about stafford
Namath had a great team around him too plus great coaching does not take away from the win. How about Bart Starr in Greenbay he had great teams around him too The guy is a great QB.....Look manning was smart he did not want to go to the jets so he picked his team tooit's a lot harder to build a great team and keep it great for 20 years then it is to sit on a stacked team until it has a down season and then move to another stacked team.
belichick did have the luxury of putting 2 Parcells teams together to start the whole thing, but he was able to keep that team great for 25 years. credit a lot of that to keeping Scarnechia around too
He is a good qb with a great coach & some real good people on his team. His coach is using him right as he can make the big mistake at times.
not better than Manning for sure Rodgers is better too. just their teams are not better. brady wins when his team is the best and he still always needs a come back to do it... and help from the zebras. put either on the cheatahs and bucs and they have a handful of rings. Peyton might have every ring had he played for belichick. brady drafted by a bad team doesn't even exist
Mahommes if he lasts will be better. Allen looks like a possibility too although he may not last as he runs too much
why even start this thread? we all hate brady and are happy he just lost. did he cause the fumbles that put him in this game?
right. and if any of those guys played for belichick for 25 years, they would have the same number of rings as brady or more. this is my pointNamath had a great team around him too plus great coaching does not take away from the win. How about Bart Starr in Greenbay he had great teams around him too The guy is a great QB.....Look manning was smart he did not want to go to the jets so he picked his team too
but Rodgers doesn't have the team around him that brady does. he has 1 receiver. again, my point. like with brady. when brady doesnt have the best team, he doesn't win. when Rodgers doesn't have the best team he doesn't win. only, he usually doesn't have the best teamRogers has a habit of losing big games & he laid an egg then other day. Even the Cardinals have beaten him twice in the playoffs........can't say that about any other team lol. Warner took him to school
