not better than Manning for sure Rodgers is better too. just their teams are not better. brady wins when his team is the best and he still always needs a come back to do it... and help from the zebras. put either on the cheatahs and bucs and they have a handful of rings. Peyton might have every ring had he played for belichick. brady drafted by a bad team doesn't even exist

I'm not as on board the anti-BB train as you. But the patriots did not draft well over the time-span when Brady was there. They had the luxury of trading back every year and amassing picks and basically "shooting buckshot at a barn."
Oh yeah and Brady was underpaid for much of his time.
Forget Cleveland. I would only look at belichicks patriot record without brady as that was his team and he had total control
Matt Cassel year, 11-5. Cassel had better than bradys numbers the year he came back or the year before, I forget which and don't care to look. Cassel won the game brady went out So 11-5
when brady was out for deflating his balls. he went 3-1 with the one loss to Rex and with his 3rd string QB..
So if you compare fairly, belichicks team with brady and the same team with backup QB's. belichick went 11-5 and 3-1 for a total of 14-6. he didn't miss brady at all
and this year, with a stacked afc, look what he did with a rookie qb
while brady was there, the yearsthey won the SB, defense won those championships along with tremendous offensive line play thanks to Dante Scarnechia. they years they had prolific scoring. No SB's.
had brady been drafted by Detroit or the Jets, brady would not be brady, but belichick would still be belichick

I hate them both, but belichick is a football genius. nobody can deny that. even his cheating was genius. brady is a great qb that has been lucky enough to play on the best teams for 25 years.
nobody drops a brady pass. (except Welker that one time and bradys wife had him sentbaway the next season). and nobody touches brady during the game. Even the true goat Joe Montana said that as long as it's a penalty to touch the guy, he can play forever. the game is not what it used to be

it's a lot harder to build a great team and keep it great for 20 years then it is to sit on a stacked team until it has a down season and then move to another stacked team.
belichick did have the luxury of putting 2 Parcells teams together to start the whole thing, but he was able to keep that team great for 25 years. credit a lot of that to keeping Scarnechia around too

I don't like him either, but that doesn't mean the guy isn't a football savant. and yes, he did get his start by putting together 2 Parcells teams. look at this one. pretty sure it was you on another thread talking up Stafford. Stafford spent his career in Detroit and never won anything cause Detroit stinks. Now he's on a really good team and in just one season, he is one game from the superbowl. And better yet, in that year, he went 2-0 against the great Tom Brady.
Now imagine this. 25 years ago brady is not drafted by belichick, he is drafted by Detroit and Stafford is instead drafted by Belichick and spends his career behind a Dante Scarnechia coached offensive line.
Which QB then do you think has a better career? Keep in mind this. yesterday brady got a boo boo on his lip when he got hit for the first time in his career and he flipped out at the officials for not ejected the guy who touched him. Namath had a great team around him too plus great coaching does not take away from the win. How about Bart Starr in Greenbay he had great teams around him too The guy is a great QB.....Look manning was smart he did not want to go to the jets so he picked his team too
He is a good qb with a great coach & some real good people on his team. His coach is using him right as he can make the big mistake at times.
Rogers has a habit of losing big games & he laid an egg then other day. Even the Cardinals have beaten him twice in the playoffs........can't say that about any other team lol. Warner took him to school

Jeter always stayed with the Yanks I guess he did not just stay with the best team like Brady has. you can go on like this. The Great Jacques Plante stayed with Montreal until they got rid of him.
