I like that we all seem to be getting together on this site.

5th Year Team Option
Jet Fanatics
I've followed the New York Jets for longer than almost everyone on this forum. That's from 1963. I've followed them as they won a Super Bowl. I've seen them come upon hard times and then, the following year, come upon even harder times. In any given season, the team might not have the talent and coaching to go all the way, or even to win many games, but that doesn't mean that they don't try. I've never forgotten that on game days there will be a group of men in Jets uniforms out there doing their very best to play the game of football.

Go, Gang Green!

The general intellegence level (and general age of the participants) here is higher than the huge sites, proving once again that the boomer generation is waaaaaay cooler and functional than those punks that came after us.

I like the fact that there are several here even older than me, I didn't even pick this up until '64. It's very educational hearing about their experiences at that first Rutgers-Princeton game in 1869.

My dad used to say " It's a big shit sandwich and we're all gonna have to take a bite." Kinda sums up being a Jet Fan.

Hopefully that's going to change...soon.
