Thie refs lost control of the game when there was no flag on the Giovnani spear to the head. They can sugar coat it " it was an unfortunate hit" but he was a defenseless receiver speared to the helmet. No flag?
Th game was out of control after that and Cincy paid for it looking for revenge, I see their point

ESPN just stated without question it was a personal foul. Move the Bengals 15 yards closer it is a chip shot field goal at the least And it was the NFL Supervisor of Officials for 12 years not some scmuck. The Bengals would have been inside the 10.
As for pac man flag at the end
There's a lot of people around the NFL asking a good question, thankfully. What the hell was Joey Porter doing out on the field? LB coach on an offensive drive, in the middle of the field taunting Bengals players.

Refs F'd up this game so much, so often. It's disgusting the favoritism shown to the Steelers in this league.

And Nance kept going on about the Big Ben hit " was it legal " Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah
No head shot, not low,,,didn't pick him up, grabbed him and brought him down landing on his shoulder???!

We all need to remember

Unlike ALL the other major sports these schmucks are NOT professional sports officials. They are lawyers, high school administrators, insurance guys and used car salesmen who sit on their asses and get fat all week and fly someplace on weekends for a part time per diem hobby making awful calls and showing bias and favoritism to the teams like the Steelers, Pats, Packers etc that they know in their amateur hearts dont do anything wrong

My guess is that at least 25% are on the take too which is really dangerous

Will an schmuck like Goodell ever do anything.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Porter was out there for one reason only, to initiate something and it worked. Porter , to my knowledge, wasn't a part of the medical team nor is he an offensive coach which shouldn't be on the field anyway. If you throw a flag, throw one on both because one should definitely have not of even been there.
The second Bernard got hit i thought it was a penalty. Earlier in the game when #11 for the Steelers got hit, i thought it was a very hard yet legal hit. He hit him with his shoulder into the receivers shoulder.
What is going to end up happening is the DB's are going to have no choice but to go after the receivers legs/knees. Like exactly what happened to Gronk. You're going to see a lot of season ending if not career ending injuries because of the way the refs are calling these games.
I thought the Jets had a lot of heartbreaking losses,but man that loss was crushing for Cincinnati . Especially to a fan base that hasn't won a single playoff game since Boomer Esiason and the icky shuffle. Absolutely painful.

And what you just said should put things in the proper perspective. Every loss we had was to bad teams except the Patsies. So what be concluded from this?

The Jets had an easy schedule this season and still they only managed to win 10 games. That's a great improvement over Rex's last season, but lets not go overboard with how great we think the Jets are becoming. Same as Rex, they have still only managed to beat ONE team with a winning record per season That needs to change for the Jets to be successful. I figure next seasons schedule will be the real test for how much this team has improved. Right now, they are nothing more than the product of an easy schedule.
