And what you just said should put things in the proper perspective. Every loss we had was to bad teams except the Patsies. So what be concluded from this?

The Jets had an easy schedule this season and still they only managed to win 10 games. That's a great improvement over Rex's last season, but lets not go overboard with how great we think the Jets are becoming. Same as Rex, they have still only managed to beat ONE team with a winning record per season That needs to change for the Jets to be successful. I figure next seasons schedule will be the real test for how much this team has improved. Right now, they are nothing more than the product of an easy schedule.

The jets have sucker for five + years. It's about time we had a winning record. This season was refreshing. You saw a team that improved from game 1 all the way through game 17. We did falter at times but that shows there's still ways to go. The jets were not a playoff team this year, so be it. We were far from being bad and that to me is a success. I had more fun this year watching this team than any year prior including the AFC championship runs. Something was refreshing about this team. A group of likeable players who have it their all on the field.

I am exciting for next year and sad that this season is over. First time in a while. Enjoy it MJ. We could be the bengals....

I was thinking the exact same thing. Porter was out there for one reason only, to initiate something and it worked. Porter , to my knowledge, wasn't a part of the medical team nor is he an offensive coach which shouldn't be on the field anyway. If you throw a flag, throw one on both because one should definitely have not of even been there.
The second Bernard got hit i thought it was a penalty. Earlier in the game when #11 for the Steelers got hit, i thought it was a very hard yet legal hit. He hit him with his shoulder into the receivers shoulder.
What is going to end up happening is the DB's are going to have no choice but to go after the receivers legs/knees. Like exactly what happened to Gronk. You're going to see a lot of season ending if not career ending injuries because of the way the refs are calling these games.
I thought the Jets had a lot of heartbreaking losses, but man that loss was crushing for Cincinnati . Especially to a fan base that hasn't won a single playoff game since Boomer Esiason and the icky shuffle. Absolutely painful.

Absolutely right. Porter shouldn't have been on the field. He put himself in the middle of a bengals huddle. By rule, the only team employees that can be on the field are medical employees. The NFL is a joke. I am sick to my stomachs after the way bengals lost. The steelers are just favored throughout. The announcing was terrible too!

Walt Tuck Rule Coleman and his gang of amateur part timers screwing up another postseason game with BS PI, illegal contact calls on uncatchable balls all favoring the home team

I thought I was miserable until I saw the way Cincinnati and Minnesota lost. :global (37):

Well, misery loves company, now we have plenty of company. :global (45):

These losses have been brutal! I rather get blown out like the Texans than lose the way Cincy and Minn lost these games.

As I have said all along, SOJ moments happen to EVERY team. It's just that Jets fans tend to enjoy living in that state of self-loathing.

ABSOLUTELY, I'd rather lose 100-0

When you get blown out like Houston, what can you do, you lick your wounds and say we need to get a lot better.

But when you lose the way Cinci and Minny lost, when you snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, when the other team didn't beat you, but you beat yourself, in the most inexplicable, excruciating, chokeified fashion imaginable, those are the losses that haunt you, those are the ones that haunt your every waken minute, those are the ones that haunt your dreams, those are the ones that give you insomnia followed by an Ambien addiction, those are the ones that stay with you forever, and they never go away.

Looks like Green Bay's offense has turned it around. For some reason I want redskins to win. Want to see new blood out there. Not he rehash of the same teams. I also like Cousins
