the event is less than 2 hours long i doubt he can even say geno smith sux in that time.
Maybe we will have drafted Mariota by then and questions will be all about he and Fitzpatrick, our relevant QBs

Do any of you guys go to the Jets draft parties?

Are they good?

Went the first year which was the 2010 draft but only because it was the first time we got let into the new stadium. They set up a screen and folding chairs at the main gate. You could buy food like on game day and that was about it. They let you in to the area behind the bench to see the stadium but not into the stands. It wasn't worth the trip to Jersey so we saw the Bradford pick and went home to see the rest on TV.

Curious how the ensuing years were handled because they still hold this event which means they must have made some improvements. Would like to hear from someone who went '11-'13.

I went last year. I thought it was great but really hard to follow the draft because there is so much going on. If you have kids I think it's well worth it. They allow you to get on the field. There's a nice inflatable slide for them, a photo booth that allows you to where different props, let's you try to kick the ball through the uprights. Best part is they allow you to go into the jets locker room and meet some of the players that are there signing autographs.

Last year Geno, Antonio Allen, bellore, Kerley, snacks, Cumberland and a few others were there. They each give out tshirts too. Last year it was split with the Giants so half the events were jets related and half Giants. This year it's all jets so it should be nicer.

Thanks for the report. That sounds way better than the 2010 event if for no other reason the opportunity to get on the field and see the locker room. We were mostly limited to the gate area outside the seating bowl. Maybe I'll go next year for a while just to walk on the field because we'll have the 32nd pick and it would give us a chance to room around.

buying anything or going anywhere after the initial buzz is always recommended.

I esp do that with video game consoles and most computer games because their are always bugs and patches that come out soon after.
