Love it when these immature athletes unlike the team they play for on social media.
Two things I'm guessing. JD is low balling him and he is asking for Aaron Donald money. Two things I know. He is definitely not Aaron Donald and the Jets control his rights for 3 years.
Yes I know social media is used for pressuring and not just in sports negotiations.
if he's asking for 31 mill per he can kick rocks.. he's not donald..
& the market is already set.. 7 would seem one or both sides are being a bit unreasonable to this point..
Hes not looking for Donald money, he is looking to be top paid at the second tier. $24 -25 million per for 4 years. Fair market value for him $100 million over 4 years $50 million fully guaranteed

JD looks huge. Put him out there instead of Q.
Or if Becton fails put him at DT and let him live his eating dream.
It's all a negotiating tactic. The question is, how much do JD and Saleh value an elite interior DL? Saleh focuses so much on the edge. And as he showed, with his rotational play, he can fill both the run stopper and the interior pass rush with rotational veterans. So does he see value in paying that kind of money for a stud on the interior, or is the organizational philosophy moving ahead going to be around blue chippers on the edge and rotational guys inside?

Well Q played great last year. Other than that he has been pretty average. He deserves to be paid in the top 5 of DT's, but nowhere near Donald money. Paying $25M seems high for a guy that plays around 65% of the snaps.

Don't know yet. Don't know if McDonald or JJ could be. But the assets were used on them, which shows how much the team values edge.
JFM belongs inside. Thats where he is at his best, but due to the lack of quality at DE he had to be used out of position. McDonald is a complete unknown. Even with Q demanding double teams, creating opportunities for the outside rushers they struggled. Remove him and the line is severely weakened.
